| China is a large agricultural country,but it is not yet a strong agricultural country.Although China’s agricultural and rural modernization development has achieved remarkable historical achievements since the reform and opening up,and the agricultural and rural modernization has achieved remarkable results,as a primary industry,compared with the secondary and tertiary industries,the development trend is slower and agricultural talents promote Insufficient effort in industrial development.At present,there is a large gap between the supply of agricultural graduates from agricultural universities in China and the demand of the agricultural industry,which is reflected in the quantity and quality.In terms of quantity,a large number of agricultural graduates have flowed to industries other than agriculture after graduation,and the gap in the demand for talents in the agricultural industry is still large;in terms of quality,the professional structure,ability structure,and hierarchical structure of employment of agricultural graduates are in contradiction with industrial needs.Studying the employment status of agricultural graduates in China,analyzing the problems and causes of employment of agricultural graduates,and combining the current development needs of the agricultural industry,and putting forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,are of great significance to alleviate the current severe employment situation and promote the development of the agricultural industry.This research comprehensively uses the literature analysis method,survey research method and model analysis method to sort out the existing researches on the employment of college students and the demand of the agricultural industry at home and abroad.Through questionnaire surveys and individual interviews of 2019 agricultural graduates from 11 agricultural colleges and universities,the current employment status of agricultural graduates in China is presented with data,combined with interviews with agricultural-related enterprises,it is pointed out that from the perspective of agricultural industry demand,the employment of agricultural graduates in China has the following problems:high employment rate,low employment counterpart rate;high employment expectations,and low satisfaction;developed cities become universal choice,and grassroots employment is extremely small;there is a deviation between the employment structure of agricultural graduates and the industrial demand;the employment ability structure of agricultural graduates is not well coordinated with the industrial needs;the employment hierarchy of agricultural graduates is severely out of touch with the industrial needs.Then establish a mathematical model to study the influencing factors of whether agricultural graduates choose employment in the agricultural industry.Analyze the causes of employment problems for agricultural graduates,including the following aspects:poor job attractiveness in agricultural industry,backward concepts of agricultural graduates,insufficient government-related agricultural policies,problems in talent cultivation methods in universities,and talent recruitment and training in enterprises.Finally,this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions to improve the employment of agricultural graduates in China,including the following aspects:the government should strengthen the direction of public opinion and update social concepts;Implement free education policy for agricultural students to ensure the quality of students;improve grassroots employment policies and optimize the employment environment;increase investment in the agricultural industry and improve entrepreneurial support.Universities should strengthen the psychological guidance of students,promote agricultural students to establish the concept of love for agriculture;improve employment guidance,improve agricultural students’entrepreneurial ability;optimize the traditional curriculum structure,cultivate comprehensive talents;add relevant emerging majors to meet future needs.Enterprise should eliminate discrimination in academic qualifications and attach importance to comprehensive capabilities;improve salary and pay,expand capacity for agricultural graduates;open the channels for talent promotion,and define the development direction;cooperate with universities,and train talents in a targeted manner.Agricultural graduates themselves should abandon the idea of light agriculture and hate agriculture,establish a correct world outlook,outlook on life,values,world;clear career plan,enhance self-awareness;cultivate hardships and stand hard work,have the courage to take root in the grassroots;actively participate in agricultural practices,and improve employability. |
