Research On The Cultivation System Of The Urgently-Needed Talents Of Agricultural Engineering Specialty In China

Since 2017,the construction of new engineering,agricultural disciplines has been comprehensively promoted in the field of higher education,and initial results have been achieved in laying out emerging interdisciplinary disciplines and strategically needed majors.In response to national strategies such as innovation driven development and rural revitalization,and to support the agricultural and rural modernization revolution brought about by industrial upgrading and transformation,higher education urgently needs to cultivate a large number of emerging agricultural engineering professionals.However,facing the present and future,what kind of agricultural engineering talents China needs is a controversial topic,affecting the supply pursuit and training efforts of universities.In order to solve the bottleneck technology problem as soon as possible and revitalize China’s science and industry from the root cause,this article is based on the basic issue of promoting higher education to cultivate scarce scientific and technological talents serving the national major strategy and the development of the new economy.Taking agricultural engineering majors as the research object,it studies the structural types and training system optimization of scarce talents in agricultural engineering majors in China from the perspective of supply and demand,and strengthens high-quality targeted supply,It has important theoretical significance and practical value in response to the national policy call to "improve the quality of higher education and accelerate the cultivation of urgently-needed talents in science,engineering,agriculture,and medicine".This article discusses the embedding and adaptability of total quality management theory,talent structure theory,and labor supply and demand theory to this study based on a review of concepts such as agricultural engineering majors,Urgently-Needed talents,and talent training systems.As for what kind of urgently-needed talents in agricultural engineering specialty are needed in China,this paper analyzes the type structure of the urgently-needed talents in agricultural engineering specialty in the eyes of experts from the perspective of supply,using the survey investigation method;From the perspective of demand,we used big data text mining and analysis to obtain first-hand information on the four major structures of agricultural engineering professionals’ career,specialty,education background and ability on the recruitment website,and further explored the type structure of agricultural engineering professionals most urgently needed in China.Using the methods of investigation,this paper analyzes the cultivation of urgently-needed talents in agricultural engineering majors in China from the perspectives of supply,input,process,output,and effect,based on a system consisting of goal vision,supply assurance,curriculum system,teaching ability,evaluation guidance,training quality,and social effects.The study found that the main problems encountered in the talent cultivation system of agricultural engineering majors in China are the lack of long-term strategic vision in training objectives,the lack of effective integration of the curriculum system and industrial reality,the poor teaching ability of teachers in industry oriented education,the prominent "five only" tendency in the evaluation guidance of agricultural engineering majors in universities,the low quality of industry oriented education,and the flat social effect of agricultural engineering graduates in promoting industry.Then,this paper uses the case analysis method,selects Purdue University and Kyoto University to study the successful practices abroad,and provides useful experience and enlightenment for the research on the training system of scarce talents in agricultural engineering majors in China.On the basis of empirical research and comparative reference,this article sets out to construct the framework and reform path for the cultivation system of urgently-needed talents in agricultural engineering majors in China from seven dimensions: target perspective,supply assurance,curriculum system,teaching ability,evaluation guidance,training quality,and social effects,and puts forward policy recommendations.
