Study On The Adoption Of Soil Testing And Formula Fertilization Technology By Farmers In Chengdu

Chemical fertilizer is an important factor related to agricultural production and management activities,which can promote crop yields and increase farmers’ income.However,with the excessive application of chemical fertilizers,negative effects such as agricultural non-point source pollution,decline in the quality of agricultural products,and decline in soil fertility have occurred.In order to solve the problem of excessive application of chemical fertilizers,the soil testing and formula fertilization technology was promoted nationwide in 2005.The soil testing and formula fertilization technology is an environmentally friendly agricultural technology.Its core is to adjust the relationship between fertilizer and soil fertilizer.It plays a decisive role in reducing agricultural non-point source pollution,improving fertilizer utilization,reducing costs,and increasing farmers’ income.This paper takes 348 farmer households in Chengdu,Sichuan Province as an example.Firstly,it starts from four aspects: individual characteristics,family characteristics,cognitive characteristics,and external conditions characteristics,and then makes a qualitative analysis of each influencing factor on this basis.Secondly,descriptive statistics are carried out on the survey data of farmers in Chengdu,and the relationship between each influencing factor and the adoption behavior of farmers is analyzed.Finally,through the construction of an econometric model,the binary Logistic logistic regression model is used for empirical analysis to empirically study the significance and direction of the influence of various factors on the adoption of farmer’s soil testing formula technology.The research results show that whether you have participated in agricultural technical training has a significant positive impact,and whether you have participated in the training of soil testing and formula fertilization technology has a significant positive impact on the understanding of various nutrients in your own farmland.Positive impact: The frequency of guidance by the government,fertilizer companies,and cooperatives has a significant negative impact.Whether the government subsidizes soil testing and formula fertilization technology has a significant positive impact.Based on this,the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward:(1)Deepen farmers’ understanding of soil testing and formula fertilization technology;(2)Increase the number of technicians;(3)Expand the scope of publicity and improve the effectiveness of training;(4)The government will increase compensation...
