Study On The Influence Of Family Farms’ Participation In Contract Agriculture On Their Adoption Of Soil Testing And Fertilization Technology

Due to the long-term irrational agricultural production behaviors of farmers,the quality of cultivated land in our country has been seriously damaged.Improving farmers’ agricultural production behaviors and protecting the quality and safety of agricultural products are practical problems that urgently need to be resolved.As the most suitable mainstay of agricultural production and management in my country,family farms actively guide family farms to adopt green agricultural production technology,which is a more scientific means to protect the quality of cultivated land in our country and reduce agricultural non-point source pollution.In view of this,this research is based on the summary of a large number of domestic and foreign related documents,based on the 2018 National Family Farm Monitoring Project,with 1,706 planting family farms as the research object,from the perspective of contract agriculture participation,constructing a model to empirically analyze the contract The extent and direction of the impact of agricultural participation on the adoption of soil testing and formula fertilization technology in family farms,the conclusions are as follows:First,Family farms’ participation in contract agriculture is an important factor in promoting their adoption of soil testing formula fertilization technology.Compared with family farms not participating in contract agriculture,family farms participating in contract agriculture have a 19.5% higher probability of adopting soil testing formula fertilization technology;Second,looking at the impact of contract agricultural participation on family farms’ soil testing and fertilization technology by region,it is found that the central region has the largest impact,followed by the western region,and the eastern region has the least impact.The value of family farms is significantly greater than that of family farms that grow cash crops;Third,the farmer’s participation in soil and fertilizer cultivation technology training,the number of years engaged in agricultural scale operation,the main business experience,the farm has a complete daily income and expenditure record,the future expansion of the land,and the purchase of agricultural insurance will significantly affect the family farm’s soil testing and formula fertilization technology Adopt the behavior.Based on the above conclusions,this article proposes the following countermeasures and suggestions on how to promote the adoption of soil testing and formula fertilization technology in family farms: First,the government or relevant agricultural departments should speed up the establishment of a sound contract agricultural participation mechanism,more standardize the agricultural production agreement between the contractual parties,give full play to the welfare provision and restraint role of contract agriculture,and encourage family farms to actively adopt soil testing and formula fertilization technology;Second,the government should continue to increase the support and encouragement of contract agricultural participation in the central and western regions of our country,and at the same time strengthen the support for family farms that grow corn and cash crops to participate in contract agriculture,so as to further promote corn and cash crop families.Probability of adoption of farm soil testing formula fertilization technology;Third,increase the resource endowment level of family farms to a greater extent.The level of resource endowment of family farms largely determines the development level of agricultural ecological management.In addition,measures such as Internet communication can also be taken to strengthen the ecological management of family farms.Cognitive level,promote family farms to actively adopt soil testing and formula fertilization technology.
