| With the development of social and economic level,the number of pet owners continues to increase,and cats have become a new type of companion animal.However,due to the sensitivity of the cat species itself,lower urinary tract syndrome occurs frequently in cats,and clinically affected cats frequently urinate.Difficulty,urinary retention and other symptoms,more than half of the cats have had complications such as azotemia when they visited the doctor,so emergency catheterization is required,and physical restraint can easily lead to bladder rupture,aggravation of the condition,operator injury and other risks,and short-term post-anesthesia treatment can effectively avoid the above risks.At present,there are few anesthesia studies on cats,especially cats with lower urinary tract syndrome.In this study,butorphanol,sutai and dexmedetomidine were compounded,and cats were used as test objects to observe the effect of compound anesthesia.,clinical trials are carried out under the condition that the anesthesia effect is real to determine a safe,efficient and practical anesthesia plan.Test content:(1)Observation of the effect of compound anesthesia: compound intravenous drug was administered according to the dosage of butorphanol(0.4 mg/kg),sutai(1 mg/kg)and dexmedetomidine hydrochloride(0.005 mg/kg).The doses were intravenously injected into 12 test cats to monitor the period of anesthesia,the effect of anesthesia,the physiological indexes of the test cats,and the detection of blood routine,biochemical indexes and hormone levels in plasma.(2)Surgical operations such as catheterization and bladder puncture were performed on the experimental cat to judge the rationality of the clinical operation of this compound anesthetic preparation.(3)Apply this anesthesia program to cats with lower urinary tract syndrome,and observe the anesthesia state,physiological indicators and side effe cts of actual clinical individuals applying this anesthesia program.Test results:(1)The induction was rapid,the average induction period was 0.42 ±0.05 min;the anesthesia effect in the maintenance period was reliable,the average maintenance period was28.6±2.3 min;the recovery state was stable,and the average recovery period was 23.6 ±2.3 min.(2)The sedative and muscle relaxation effects of the test cat were good,the earliest about 20 s and the latest 40 s into the sedated state,and the state of a nesthesia was well balanced.(3)About 1minute after intravenous administration,all the test cats began to show the symptoms of sluggish eyelid reflex,corneal reflex and anal reflex,and about 25 minutes,some cats began to recover the body reflex state.(4)After intravenous administration,40% of the test cats had mild respiratory depression,which relieved spontaneously in a short time.The RR,HR,T,SPO2,and map of all cats showed a trend of first decreasing and then increasing,which was similar t o that before anesthesia.than no significant difference.(5)There was no significant difference in blood routine,biochemistry,and plasma hormone levels in different time periods after anesthesia compared with those before anesthesia(P>0.05),indicating that this anesthesia program is less stressful to the body and is safer.high.(6)This anesthesia plan can ensure the successful completion of the surgical project,the anesthesia effect is good,and there is no significant difference in monitoring indicators compared with the simple anesthesia group.(7)This anesthesia program was applied to34 affected cats in clinic,and it was found that 32 affected cats could achieve better anesthesia effect,and there was no significant difference compared with th e anesthesia group.Only 2 affected cats had anesthesia inaccurate,and 4 affected cats had anesthesia.The cat vomited after anesthesia,and the rest of the symptoms were not too abnormal with the experimental cat,and the cat with azotemia and hyperkalemia did not have any obvious side effects of anesthesia.To sum up:(1)The compound anesthesia consisting of butorphanol(0.4 mg/kg),sutai(1mg/kg)and dexmedetomidine hydrochloride(0.005 mg/kg)induced rapid anesthesia and recovery.It is stable and produces a well-balanced anesthetic effect.(2)The effect of this compound anesthetic on the basic physiological indicators of healthy cats and cats with lower urinary tract syndrome is slight and short-lived,and the changes in hematological indicators and stress-related hormones are not obvious during the anesthesia process,indicating that it has high safety.and stress resistance. |
