With the increasing trend of an aging population,the public health of older people is a growing concern.Falls have become one of the most important problems,which not only seriously damage the physical and mental health of the elderly,but also increase the government’s investment in healthcare and the financial burden on families.The prevention of falls in the elderly has become a hot topic in the field of medical care and in the development of hardware and software.With the introduction of smart technology,the prevention of falls in the elderly is gradually moving from early traditional intervention methods to intelligent products.At present,fall prevention smart products for the elderly are in the optimization stage of development.In order to improve the problems of adaptability,ease of use and lack of functionality in the practical application process,further innovation is needed to explore and realize the intelligent,efficient and practical application of the products.Firstly,through an in-depth analysis of the main causes of falls among the elderly and the current status of the design of fall prevention smart products for the elderly,this study identified a new entry point to improve the dynamic balance of the elderly in daily walking and relieve the fatigue of the soles of the feet caused by excessive concentration of pressure on the feet,and designs a fall prevention smart shoe for the elderly.On this basis,then studied and sorted out the relevant patented technologies and theories on the evolution of product design to grasp the current status of modern technology applications and future design trends.At the same time,chose to integrate the KANO model and TRIZ theory to build a product innovation design model,and then applied the model to analyze the diverse needs of users,and transformed the resulting design requirements into the corresponding fall prevention system and monitoring and alarm system.The target technology systems in the relevant patents were benchmarked and analyzed,and their basic functional structure was transferred to determine the airbag system,flexible sensing technology and miniaturization technology as the technical support for the product.After adjustment and optimization,the design conflicts and their resolution strategies were clarified,and the final specific application scheme of the intelligent technology was determined.Finally,upholding the design principles of safety,lightness and flexibility,the design elements were analyzed and sketching tools and computer software were used to complete the design expression.The feasibility of the product was verified and refined through the application of a utility model patent and assessment by professionals.Through the design research of the fall prevention smart product for the elderly,this project has obtained a product innovation design model that integrates demand analysis tools with product innovation theories and tools,which can provide design students or designers with new design ideas;in the face of cross-fertilization of expertise in various fields and carrying complex technical systems,it effectively avoids empiricism and intuitive inspiration,improves design efficiency and ensures an orderly and controllable design process.At the same time,the designed fall prevention smart shoes make up for the shortcomings in the traditional fall intervention methods,taking into account practicality,ease of use and intelligence,and provide a certain reference for future smart fall prevention product development.
