Design Of Intelligent Multifunctional Walker For The Elderly Based On Kano Model

The elderly with the growth of the body function gradually tends to decline and lead to walking inconvenience,so the development of walking AIDS for the elderly highlights the necessity,especially for the elderly.At present,the existing walking AIDS for the elderly in the market have problems of single function,low applicability and safety,which cannot meet the diversified needs of the elderly.Therefore,this paper takes facilitators for the elderly as the research object,and it is urgent to carry out research and practice on the user needs,structural layout and functional optimization of the elderly walker.This thesis mainly uses Kano model theory and method to analyze and transform user needs,so as to guide accurate thinking and direction for subsequent design practice.First of all,through literature review,user analysis,product research and in-depth user interviews,this thesis truly and deeply understands the feelings of elderly people using walking AIDS,so as to tap into the needs of elderly users using walking AIDS.Secondly,the Kano questionnaire was formulated and issued according to the user demand items of the survey.The Kano questionnaire collected needs to go through step analysis and result transformation to determine the Kano category of product quality characteristics.Then,the importance of product quality characteristics is ranked by matrix graph.Thirdly,the structure layout of the walker product was optimized,the technical principle of intelligent function was analyzed,and the human-computer interaction interface was designed to complete the initial product prototype construction.Finally,according to the user demand priority obtained from the Kano model,the product plan was conceived and optimized,the man-machine size of the walker was standardized,the CMF design innovation scheme was analyzed in detail,and the integrated innovative design practice of the intelligent multi-functional walker for the elderly was completed.This design practice effectively solved the problem that traditional walking aid design could not well meet the needs of Chinese elderly people in their daily life,and the product was evaluated in many aspects during the design stage,which verified the effectiveness of this process for design practice.
