| With the acceleration of urban life and work pace,people living in cities are facing a sharp increase in pressure,and the demand for healing landscapes is increasing day by day.Healing landscapes utilize plants and the natural environment to provide evaluation,treatment,and rehabilitation within a medical model,which not only helps patients’ physical recovery,but also helps to restore psychological,social,and mental health.Healing landscapes are primarily spaces used to improve people’s well-being.Due to its lack of stressors,it constitutes a safe and friendly place for humans.Disease or disability can lead to tension and anxiety,reducing this state by staying in a green environment and introducing a sense of peace,order,and harmony.Taking a walk in the garden,interacting with plants,shifts attention from difficult internal experiences to attractive and friendly external worlds.People can engage in various types of gardening work and various forms of leisure,which is a way to actively rest,relax,and even recover in the natural environment.The scope of healing landscapes is relatively broad,with various types and design techniques.This article analyzes design methods such as horticultural therapy and sad horticulture through cases such as the Swiss Alnarp Rehabilitation Garden,the Crown Sky Garden of Chicago Children’s Hospital,and the Healing Garden of National Taipei Nursing and Health University.Feasibility analysis is made for the combination of healing landscape and culture from the perspectives of culture,spiritual needs,storytelling culture,and natural implantation,and theory is applied to practice in the design project elaboration stage.In the discussion section,further explain the shortcomings and progress of combining healing landscapes with culture,and further explore the diversity and flexibility of healing landscapes.When studying healing landscapes,it is necessary to consider the design principles of "different audiences",and different audiences are suitable for different design techniques.Therefore,when applying design techniques,it is necessary to consider the limitations and applicability of design techniques to the audience group. |
