| The historical block condenses the connotation of a city and represents the inside information of a city.It presents the overall image of the city with its unique sense of place.In recent years,the modernization of urban renewal and development speed has brought various problems and contradictions to the historical block,which has gradually lost its original value.How to achieve a balance between economic development and the protection of historical blocks and explore the renewal mode of historical blocks with regional characteristics is an urgent task at present.The Sifang Road historical block was once one of the most important commercial blocks in Qingdao,but now it is very depressed,gradually losing its original value,and even the overall historical style of the block is declining.To explore the reasons,during the renovation of Sifang Road historical block in the 1990 s,many complex contradictions in the old city were often avoided because of the emphasis on short-term interests.In the past several plans,only individual plots have been adjusted,such as the construction of expressways,the demolition of small blocks,and the placement of large commercial buildings.However,none of these can fundamentally solve the fundamental problem of the decline of Sifang Road,which makes the functional positioning of the block itself very contradictory.In the long run,not only the bleak and depressed streets cannot be improved,but also the original historical context will be destroyed.This paper takes Qingdao Sifang Road historical block as the research object.First of all,it sorts out the relevant concepts,theoretical basis and uses for reference the experience of the revival of historical blocks at home and abroad.Through a detailed field survey of the historical evolution,early construction characteristics and current situation of Sifang Road block,it excavates the multiple value elements of the block from multiple perspectives,and guides the evaluation of the space vitality of the block,Thus,it summarizes and points out the problems and values of material space form and social and cultural characteristics.Based on this,the renewal strategies and suggestions are provided for Qingdao Sifang Road historical block in terms of seeking the overall development of the region,adjusting the mixed functions of the block,transforming the public space of the block,renovating the landscape environment,and improving the road network organization,trying to provide ideas that can be used for reference for the revitalization of the Sifang Road historical block in the future. |
