| There are many historical areas with long history and cultural value in China.In the process of urban and rural development in recent decades,urban construction has squeezed these areas,At the same time,most of these historical areas built in private.The renewal of residential intensive historic area is one of the hot topics of social research.This thesis first introduced the present situation of Intensive residential districts,and studied the theories and design methods used in the renewal.Afterwards,the “Conservation and Rehabilitation of Nanjing Xiao Xi Hu Historic District” Project was used as an example,and the six key research contents are determined through the classification of scales,combined with theoretical research and graphic representations to specifically analyze their updating strategies in two dimensions: time and space.The conclusion is that the renaissance of vitality is the ultimate goal of the renewal of the historical districts.This requires a combination of sociology,morphology,and economic logic to establish a multi-platform mechanism.Through the renewal of space and event planning to stimulate the vitality of living,and eventually reach a vibrant and harmonious community.The last part summarizes and evaluates the research of this thesis. |
