Construction And Application Of Local Cultural Gene Map Of Urban Historical And Cultural Blocks In Guangxi

Historical and cultural blocks are important areas with great historical connotations and cultural values,and are also important carriers of urban cultural inheritance.As the urban development strategy shifts from incremental expansion to high-quality optimization,spaces and locations with local characteristics of the city pay more attention to the enhancement and display of their connotations.Therefore,the renewal and development of historical and cultural blocks have increasingly become the focus of academic attention.Since the introduction of the cultural confidence strategy in China,it has gradually become an important topic in the field of historical and cultural blocks to explore local culture from multiple levels and perspectives,explore cultural characteristics,and continue local cultural heritage.The historical development of cities in Guangxi has a long history.However,in the context of economic development needs and the wave of tourism development,many of its historical and cultural blocks lack systematic understanding of local culture during the development process,resulting in problems such as blurred historical features and missing connotations.The protection of the distinctive style and local cultural inheritance of the blocks face serious challenges.As a theoretical model for studying local cultural characteristics and elements,cultural genes can sort out local material content,historical context,and cultural characteristics,and are an important theory that fits the research of historical and cultural blocks.Based on the theory of cultural genes,apply it to the study of local culture in urban historical and cultural blocks in Guangxi.Firstly,analyze the constituent elements and gene carriers of cultural genes in historical and cultural blocks,explore the expression forms of local cultural genes in blocks,and determine the construction level of local cultural gene maps in urban historical and cultural blocks.Secondly,analyze the local cultural genes of the historical and cultural blocks in Guangxi cities,take the three historical and cultural blocks of Guilin East West Street,Nanning “San jie liang xiang”,and Beihai Old Street as the main research objects,classify and sort out their local cultural genes from five aspects of residential buildings,natural landscape,local history,production and life,and folk art,and sort out the local cultural gene elements and cultural gene fragments in the historical and cultural blocks in Guangxi cities,Construct a cultural gene map of historical and cultural blocks in Guangxi cities.Finally,the application of the block local cultural gene map summarizes the current issues of local cultural gene inheritance in Guangxi’s urban historical and cultural blocks,including genetic alienation of residential buildings,single production and life genes,disorder of local historical genes,and limited folk art genes.Based on the inheritance of local cultural genes,corresponding development strategies are proposed,including the maintenance and updating of diverse architectural genes in Guangxi,the active interpretation of folk art genes in Guangxi,the reproduction and continuation of daily life genes in Guangxi,and the inheritance and development of local historical genes in Guangxi.This provides new ideas for the inheritance and interpretation of local culture in historical and cultural blocks in Guangxi.
