Research On The Optimization Strategy Of Historical And Cultural Blocks Based On Narrative Space Theory,Taking Suzhou Shantang Historical And Cultural Blocks As An Example

With the high-quality development of urban construction in my country,although the protection,renewal and planning of historical and cultural blocks has become a research hotspot in related fields and has made amazing achievements,it still exposes a series of difficult problems.First,the characteristics of historical and cultural blocks are missing and the spatial quality is converging;secondly,the spatial memory of historical and cultural blocks and their own cultural value are largely lost;finally,the renovation and reconstruction of historical and cultural blocks often lack the creation of space within the blocks.Therefore,it is necessary to explore and innovate methods,linking the previous and the next,to make up for the insufficiency of the current renovation planning and space design.According to the characteristics of event space and spatial characteristics of Shantang historical and cultural blocks,this paper introduces the theory of narrative space,explores the possibility of combining narrative space theory with the protection,renewal and space design of Shantang historical and cultural blocks,and proposes the protection of historical and cultural blocks in Shantang.In planning,attention should be paid to the value and function of narrative space in historical and cultural heritage.The three elements of narrative space—time,space,and events are analyzed,and the relationship between space elements and event elements is analyzed on the basis of time elements,and the core research scope of Shantang historical and cultural blocks is determined through block event space.By studying the elements of the narrative space in the historical and cultural blocks,the narrative space evaluation system of the historical and cultural blocks is constructed,and the evaluation index factors are classified according to the event elements and space elements,and the readability analysis of the narrative space is carried out.The Shantang historical and cultural block is comprehensively analyzed at the city level and the block itself.According to the spatial distribution of the block events,the research units are divided for evaluation,and finally the readability score of the narrative space of the Shantang historical and cultural block is obtained.On the basis of the scoring results,the characteristics of high-recognitionhigh-narrative,high-recognition-low-narrative,low-recognition-high-narrative,and lowrecognition-low-narrative space types are summarized and analyzed.Finally,according to the calculation results of the narrative space evaluation system of Shantang historical and cultural blocks and the distribution of narrative space types,this paper interprets the limitations of the traditional renewal of Shantang historical and cultural blocks and the problems of current space utilization,and proposes an optimization path for the narrative space of Shantang historical and cultural blocks.and specific optimization strategies.This paper summarizes the selection principles of narrative space elements in historical and cultural blocks,and the principles of narrative space creation,and provides reference and basis for practical operations.
