| As the rural population outflows,the rural cultural characteristics have gradually disappeared and the functions of public space have gradually become weak.How to improve the rural public space by integrating implanted culture and local culture and develop excellent culture into the spiritual core of rural public space is a problem worth thinking about to promote rural development and construction.Since 2018,the government of Hu Yi District,Xi’an and art colleges in Xi’an launched the "Guanzhong Mangba Art Festival" in the Shi Jing area.With the advantages of Qin Ling Mountains,based on the local culture of villages,public art was implanted into the rural public space and integrated with the rural natural landscape,and the "Shi Jing practice" of the beautiful countryside was made,providing new power for "gathering people" in the countryside.Actually the construction goal of the beautiful countryside was proposed in the No.1 document of the central government in 2013."The strategy of rural vitalization" was proposed at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2018 and it was proposed to"comprehensively promote rural vitalization" at the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,emphasizing that we should "build a livable beautiful countryside with good working conditions".These national strategic guidelines are the basis for us to study the intervention of rural public space by public art.There is a natural link between public art and rural revitalization.By implanting public art in the countryside,we can change the image of art that is too high to be popular in the eyes of villagers,build a bridge between urban culture and rural society,and increase the vitality of rural public space by artistic means.However,currently,in the practice of rural construction of art in Xi’an,rural public space and behaviors and activities of crowds are seldom considered and there is no research on the suitability of rural public space.This research is divided into five parts.In the first part,the research background is introduced,the purpose and significance of the research are determined,the scope and object of the research are defined,research methods such as the PSPL survey method and literature research method are clarified,and the technical route of the research is defined.In the second part,related concepts such as the intervention of public art and suitability of public space are defined,and the relationship between the construction of beautiful countryside and building of the public space and the publicity of public art are clarified.The research on related theories,the intervention of rural construction by domestic and foreign public art,the progress of related research on the suitability of rural public space,and typical cases of rural construction of art is summarized.In the third part,the development of beautiful countryside in Xi’an is sorted out,20 typical beautiful villages in Xi’an are selected for field research,the existing classification of beautiful countryside in Shaanxi Province is supplemented according to the conditions of investigation and survey,and subtypes of beautiful countryside are proposed.Combined with a lot of practical experience of rural construction of art in the Shi Jing area,Hu Yi District,Xi’an,classified investigation and research is done on the characteristics of public space and public activities of crowds in the Shi Jing area with the PSPL method.In the fourth part,according to the survey results,the evaluation system of the suitability of public space of beautiful countryside with the intervention of public art is built and the suitability is evaluated according to the spatial form.At the subjective level,psychological satisfaction is evaluated combined with villagers’ satisfaction with the increase of income,aesthetics,and culture as a supplement to the evaluation of the suitability of public space.In the fifth part,the construction strategy for public space in the Shi Jing area based on the evaluation of suitability is proposed. |
