Research On The Renovation Design Of Public Space In The Old City Residential Area

In recent years,the urban renewal process of ’ comprehensive renovation of old residential areas ’ marks that the scale of urban renewal in China has changed from the previous urban scale to the community scale.The residents ’environmental awareness is becoming stronger and stronger,and the pursuit of the quality of public space is becoming higher and higher.As a key link in the renovation of residential areas,the transformation of public space has theoretical research value and practical urgency.This paper takes the public space of residential areas as the research object,and the scope of the study is framed that there are still old urban residential areas where traditional living methods and residential living methods coexist.In view of the common problems such as the lack of public venues and facilities,the decline of context,the lack of vitality and the poor environmental quality,based on the relevant theoretical analysis,the transformation design orientation and the empirical analysis of transformation cases,this paper fully discusses the transformation objectives,transformation design principles and strategies of public space in residential areas,and focuses on the research of the transformation design method of public space in old urban residential areas.The main research contents are as follows :Firstly,based on the review of relevant literature at home and abroad,the concept of public space in residential areas is analyzed,and the types,characteristics and levels of public space in residential areas are summarized.This paper combs the related theory and design orientation of the revitalization of residential areas,and constructs the theoretical support of this research.Secondly,the existing problems and transformation objectives of the old city residential public space are fully identified,and the three transformation design principles of integrity,inclusiveness and local culture are expounded,and the three transformation design strategies,namely,space quality strengthening strategy,suitability strategy and industrial empowerment strategy,are expounded.Then,the design method of the transformation of public space in residential areas is emphatically explored from four aspects :the necessity transformation of public space,the suitability transformation of public space,the strengthening of regional characteristics of public space and the optimization of landscape environment.Finally,through the actual project of the renovation of the equal street block in Guancheng District of Zhengzhou City,the design concept of the renovation of the ’ Lixiang block ’ with a specific cultural metaphor of the Guancheng District is clearly put forward,and the practical operation of the renovation design is explored,and the use evaluation after the renovation is collected and analyzed.
