Under the theme of stock regeneration and quality creation,vitality creation has become an important proposition in urban research.As an important part of urban public space,the urban waterfront greenway space should pay more attention to the shaping of spatial vitality when facing the choice of conservation and development.However,how to quantify and evaluate spatial vitality has always been a difficult problem.With the development of information technology,the construction of new data environment is becoming more and more perfect,the channels for acquiring image data are constantly updated,and the image interpretation techniques have become more diversified.This thesis presents a new perspective on the vitality of urban waterfront greenways.This thesis compares the basic theories and practices related to the evaluation of urban waterfront greenway vitality,understands the current research directions and shortcomings,and provides reference and reference for this study.Based on the former,this thesis constructs an evaluation system of urban waterfront greenway vitality,which includes index classification and data acquisition,and transforms vitality into a semantic factor that can be quantitatively evaluated.The evaluation model divides spatial vitality into two dimensions: intrinsic characteristics and extrinsic representations.The evaluation of intrinsic characteristics takes the physical space of urban waterfront greenway as the carrier,and through the analysis of the spatial components of urban waterfront greenway,the evaluation indexes with high correlation are selected for measurement.By analyzing crowd activities,we use POI data and Baidu heat map data as a multi-source database to characterize public space vitality.Through the classification of urban spatial data and the advantages of big data in terms of mass and high accuracy,we can discover the current situation and real problems of the vitality of the real use of space by the crowd,thus providing an important basis for space optimization and vitality enhancement.This thesis takes the riverfront greenway of Huitong Road section of Minxin River as the research object,focusing on obtaining urban data and information of people’s activities of the riverfront greenway as the data base of this vitality evaluation system,and combining with the investigation of social characteristics such as industry and population in the corresponding scope,making the riverfront greenway of Minxin River This thesis is based on the urban data and information on the activities of the people as the basis of this evaluation system.This thesis explores a new direction for shaping the vitality of the riverfront greenway in Shijiazhuang to meet the needs of urban residents through a study of strategies to enhance the vitality of the Minxin River riverfront greenway in Shijiazhuang,which is in line with the development of the times and is implementable.It is expected to provide useful reference for the study of urban riverfront greenway space represented by Minxin River in Shijiazhuang.
