Reaearch On Urban Street Spatial Vitality Evaluation Based On Multi-source Data

With the continuously progress of urbanization,the change of urban lifestyle,and the transformation of urban development into high-quality stage,the drawbacks of planning with motor vehicles as the main measure are gradually exposed,such as lack of public space,and the low recoginition of the site.The quality of public space has declined,and the vitality of the city has been deprived by many factors.Therefore,the importance of quality of urban space is emphasized in the construction of modern cities.As an important public space in the city,the needs of people’s interactions and activities are often neglected on the streets,and the social attributes of the streets are weakened.In the process of rapid urbanizationl,the old cities also face the problem of the gradual decline of the traditional life atmosphere and the lack of attractive space in the street.The shaping and upgrading of street spatial vitality is an important link in current urban construction.It is of profound significance to conduct in-depth research on streets.At the same time,the arrival of the "big data" era has provided new ideas and means for analyzing and solving urban problems.In this context,this paper takes the street spatial vitality as the research object.Firstly,consults and grasps the basic theories and research trends of street spatial vitality,and clarifies the concept and components of street spatial vitality.Starting from the main body,carrier and object of the street,the two dimensions of street spatial vitality evaluation are established,that is,the external representation of vitality and the internal composition of vitality.Secondly,in the empirical research,Suzhou ancient downtown is selected as the research case.Based on multi-source data,this paper establishes the basic database of street spatial vitality evaluation of Suzhou ancient downtown.Secondly,this paper quantitatively analyzes the street spatial vitality of Suzhou ancient downtown from the two dimensions of vital external representation and constituent elements.Thirdly,through the correlation analysis,this paper studies the internal relationship between the external representation of the street vitality and the constituent elements to explore the factors affecting the spatial vitality of the streets.Based on the analysis of the vitality characteristics and vital factors,this paper puts forward the street space optimization strategy of Suzhou ancient downtown and promotion strategy of vitality.Finally,this paper summarizes the main conclusions,innovations and shortcomings.The main conclusions are as follows: In terms of external representation of vitality,there are differences in the space-time characteristics of working days and rest days in different types of streets of Suzhou ancient downtown.In terms of the internal composition of the street,the distance from the nearest subway station,the distance from the nearest commercial center and the street function density have the greatest contribution to the street spatial vitality,which are the main factors affecting the spatial vitality of the ancient city streets.Different types of factors have different activation mechanisms.Based on this,this paper attempts to propose street spatial vitality improvement strategies corresponding to these indicators from the attraction of commercial facilities,street accessibility and street functional density.
