As an important part of the urban giant system,city streets,in addition to carrying the traffic function,as one of the basic components of the city system,streets are also an important part of the public space in the city.In recent years,due to the rapid urbanization and the continuous pursuit of high-quality urban space by urban residents,the urban design once dominated by "automobileism" has gradually weakened the social attributes of streets,and the quality of urban street space is seriously lacking.With the return of the "humanist" urban planning concept and the continuous development of high-quality urban construction,as well as the challenges of public health and health to urban planning and construction,the improvement of the quality of living urban streets has become a sustainable city and highquality urban development.The key link of quality street space.Based on the three urban street construction requirements: urban street construction requirements,street space user requirements,and healthy city construction requirements,this thesis establishes a street space quality evaluation consisting of street vitality,street safety,and street green based on theories of environmental psychology and human needs.Index system.On the basis of this index system,the overall quantitative formula of urban street space quality evaluation is obtained through the calculation of various indexes.Then the quality evaluation and analysis of the research objects selected in this article are carried out,and the existing problems are obtained.Finally,taking improvement of the status quo and sustainable development as the common goal of improving the quality of urban living streets,a targeted urban street space quality improvement strategy is proposed for the research objects.Through the research on the quality evaluation of the living city street space in Shenyang,theoretically,it enriches the research methods of the urban living street space quality evaluation,promotes the systematic research on the improvement of urban street space quality,and serves as the urban street space evaluation system.The established related research provides new ideas.In practice,it provides empirical reference and method reference for the related research of urban street space,proposes effective strategies for improving the quality of urban street space in Shenyang,and to a certain extent promotes the development of high-quality urban street space construction in Shenyang.
