The Research On Renewal Design Of Traditional Village Dwellings In The Southern Taihang Mountain Of Xinxiang

In recent years,depending on the background of the State Council’s proposal in the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan to speed up the construction of livable villages,the existing traditional villages in Xinxiang City have answered the call and carried out rural construction.At present,these traditional villages have excellent development potential based on their natural and human resources,so it is urgent how to combine the existing industries to make reasonable renovation and design of houses,so as to respond to the transformation of diverse spaces.This paper aims at the transformation and optimization of the traditional village housing space,and puts forward the concrete measures suitable for the residential renewal design in this area through the analysis of the motivation of renewal.Many traditional villages in Xinxiang City are located in the Taihang Mountains.Today,they still retain traditional stone dwellings,which have great regional and cultural vitality and high value.This study focuses on traditional village residences.Firstly,onsite investigation and surveying are used to summarize the characteristics of traditional residences,which serve as the basic material for scientific updating of residences.Based on the current situation,problems,and updating motivations,it is demonstrated that the development of diversified industries in villages has a positive promoting effect on the transformation and quality improvement of residential spaces.Therefore,the current development goals of residential renewal in villages are proposed and used as design basis,specifically from the perspective of "functional space renewal" From the four levels of "architectural structure optimization","building performance improvement",and "architectural style inheritance",the technical strategies for updating and designing traditional village residences in the southern Taihang area of Xinxiang are proposed in sequence.Finally,a practical case study in Guoliang Village was selected to summarize the above strategies and practices,and based on the experience of similar updated cases in China,the feasibility of the above technical ideas was verified through design practice.Through research on the renovation design of traditional village houses in the southern Taihang area of Xinxiang,we aim to promote rural renewal and sustainable development,and provide reference for similar residential transformation in northern Henan.
