Study On Regional Adaptability And Renewal Design Of Cave-dwelling In The South Of Yulin

The southern region of Yulin is arid with little rain,and the ecological environment is harsh.As a characteristic residential building form in this region,cave-dwelling,combined with the unique topography and appearance of the loess gully region,takes local soil and stone as the main building material,with low cost,high environmental protection,wide coverage and high utilization rate in the region.In recent years,under the impact of modern civilization,the survival and development of cave-dwelling affected by greatly,the traditional cave-dwelling increasingly cannot meet the residents’ living standard and the actual needs,in a single display when adapt to the modern life space,poor thermal comfort were problem,cave-dwelling in the process of the residents are updated from the local traditional culture.The study combined with the regional environment,summed up the adaptive characteristics and renewal strategy of the cave-dwelling,explored the direction of the harmonious development of architecture and region,and provided reference for the development of the cave-dwelling in the region.Starting from the current situation of cave-dwelling in the south of Yulin,this paper sorted out the geographical conditions,natural climate,social economy,cultural background and other relevant regional environment in the south of Yulin,and analyzed the regional adaptability characteristics of cave-dwelling in the aspects of site selection,courtyard layout,architectural space form,facade form composition,material selection and structure.For kiln field test of indoor physical environment of buildings,qualitative quantitative analysis of the kiln in the building of winter and summer indoor thermal environment and light environment,subjective feelings,life style of residents,such as energy structure for questionnaire investigation,and found status quo problems such as the traditional cave-dwelling construction needs to improve thermal comfort,daylighting is bad,poor quality,function space partition unreasonable,And the loss of regional culture revealed in the process of the renewal of cave-dwelling residences.To understand the immediate needs of local residents,inherit and develop the regional adaptability characteristics of cave-dwelling,update and improve the existing problems,and put forward the corresponding update strategies: location selection according to local conditions;Courtyard microclimate and courtyard economy complement each other;The architectural space organization considers the living behavior habit;The exterior form of the building reflects the kiln culture;On the technical level,it inherits the traditional construction experience;Improve indoor thermal environment by using climate buffer zone and enhancing air tightness of doors and Windows;Combining traditional and modern materials to optimize building quality;Adjust the layout of the building space to adapt to modern life.Update strategy selection based on the actual case study updating cave-dwelling in construction practice,the traditional kiln buildings converted into living,production and update public class to use,and use the simulation software of residence original cave-dwelling and updated in indoor physical environment for validation,verification result assessment updated cave-dwelling in the modification effect,So that the physical environment,spatial layout,construction quality and other aspects of the kiln building has been improved.Research from the angle of regional adaptability in Yulin south cave-dwelling construction update mode,explore the cave-dwelling in construction to adapt to the local living environment and the development of production and way of life of a new direction,to the protective development of the region cave-dwelling to provide more ideas and valuable reference,can make a design in the region has wide popularization,inheritance and carry forward the excellent cultures.
