| At present,ecology has become a highly concerned issue,and garden construction,as an important component of urban ecological construction,is increasingly attracting people’s attention.With the continuous progress of society and the improvement of living standards,people’s requirements for the scale and design effect of garden construction are becoming higher and higher.However,in recent years,the impact of the epidemic on landscape construction,coupled with the low level of management,has led to serious project delays and hindered the development of landscape enterprises.Due to the low quality of the construction team,poor project conditions,short cycles,and multiple types of work in garden projects,MK Company’s projects in various regions often experience blind and reckless behavior during the construction process,lacking scientific guidance on project progress,resulting in outdated project progress,reduced project profits,and restricted the development of the enterprise.The milestone event of the HY Garden Project,the construction progress of the landscape bridge,is delayed.If the schedule is not adjusted in a timely manner,it will directly lead to the project being delayed in delivery.The consequences of overdue delivery are not only increasing project costs,but also holding the enterprise accountable,which will bring incalculable losses to MK company.By applying the knowledge learned in engineering management courses and researching literature and relevant theories related to schedule management both domestically and internationally,and based on the principles,content,techniques,and methods of engineering project schedule management,face-to-face communication and understanding with project management personnel and on-site workers were conducted.It was found that there are many problems with schedule planning and implementation of schedule management in the project.The most prominent issues are incomplete organizational structure,unclear job responsibilities,unreasonable schedule planning,lack of supervision mechanism,and inadequate management system.There is an urgent need to optimize the schedule management of HY Garden project.In this paper,WBS task decomposition method,plan review technology and Gantt chart chart method are used to optimize the design of the project schedule and prepare a schedule management plan that conforms to the actual situation on site;Based on the actual situation of the project,optimize the project organizational structure,clarify job responsibilities,and prevent disputes caused by unclear rights and responsibilities;By establishing a schedule observation system and collecting progress information,relevant data on milestone events can be obtained.The earned value method is used for process monitoring,followed by progress deviation analysis to identify the reasons that affect on-site progress and take timely corrective measures.At the end of the article,scientific and feasible guarantee measures are proposed from four aspects: organization,management,economy,and technology,to ensure that the project is completed at low cost and low risk.This article combines theory with empirical cases,and on the basis of the original project schedule management,conducts a series of schedule adjustments to improve the HY garden project schedule management system.The adjusted schedule has solved the problem of schedule delay in the HY garden project and advanced the construction period by 4 days,ensuring the smooth completion of the project.Through the study of this case,it provides a certain reference for MK Company and other similar enterprises on how to formulate schedule plans and effectively control construction progress during the construction process to ensure timely completion of the project in the process of garden project schedule management. |
