Nowadays,with the rapid development of China’s economy,the transportation industry has also ushered in a period of rapid development.From 2015 to 2021,the number of highway tunnels in China is increasing year by year.In 2021,the total number of highway tunnels in our country will be 23268,with average annual growth of 9.20%.As a special unit project in highway engineering and railway engineering,tunnel is not only the most difficult key project to build,but also the core of the quality management of the entire construction project.Compared with other large-scale construction projects,tunnel construction has its distinctive characteristics,which are characterized by long construction period,high cost,multi-disciplinary,interdisciplinary,high management difficulty and large span.How to ensure the quality management level of the tunnel project and complete the construction tasks on time,with high quality has become a major practical problem to be solved by the construction unit.Taking the X tunnel project as an example.This thesis studies from the perspective of the construction party,aims to improve the quality management level of X tunnel project and pave the way for the next step of construction.Firstly,by combining the key and difficult points of the X tunnel construction such as unfavorable geological construction,excavation method adapted to surrounding rock,personnel management and interviews,this thesis concluded that the cognition and ability of personnel in X tunnel construction are uneven,the working efficiency of machinery and equipment is low,the raw material detection and concrete acceptance are not up to standard,it is difficult to control the tunneling quality,the construction quality is not high in bad weather backward,measurement and inspection management.Secondly,the 5M1 E analysis method and fishbone diagram were used to find out the reasons for the quality management problems,focus on personnel,construction methods and inspection for quality management improvement.Including the imperfect system and insufficient quality awareness of personnel,poor process arrangement and maintenance of mechanical equipment,inadequate implementation of raw materials and concrete management standards,inadequate construction methods to meet the actual needs,incomplete severe weather treatment plan,and failure to consider measurement inspection management from the whole construction process.Thirdly,based on PDCA cycle theory and quality control points,corresponding improvement measures are proposed for the whole construction process.Specifically,technical support shall be strengthened and dynamic geological prediction shall be carried out in the preparation stage before construction;In the construction process and inspection stage,according to the 5M1 E framework,the X tunnel project quality management system was improved with personnel,construction methods and measurement as the key points of quality management improvement,supplemented by materials,environment and machinery.It puts forward countermeasures such as improving personnel quality management system,promoting fine process management,improving inspection and measurement frequency and level,standardizing material quality control,actively coping with the impact of environment on construction,strengthening the training and assessment of mechanical equipment operation,use and maintenance management,etc;In the construction treatment stage,it is proposed to increase the acceptance link of sub divisional works for quality assessment,improve the acceptance management of key sub divisional works,and take measures to deal with construction quality defects and accidents.Finally,the above research is summarized.Through the research of this paper,it provides an all-round guarantee for the improvement of project quality management.It is not only beneficial to improve the quality management level of X tunnel project,but also can provide experience for other similar projects.
