Since 2022,the global economic situation has been severe and complex,with the escalation of the Sino-US trade war,the tense situation between Russia and Ukraine,the continuous rise in commodity prices,international energy tension,and increased inflationary pressure,leading to a significant slowdown in world economic growth.After three years of influence of the epidemic,China has fully opened up,and governments at all levels have formulated various plans to promote economic development.The tire mold industry,as an upstream enterprise in the tire industry,is closely related to the development of the automotive industry and the international economic environment.The rapid development of new energy vehicles has led to increasingly fierce competition among domestic and foreign tire enterprises,resulting in higher requirements for tire molds.The wind power and gas turbine industries are gradually showing significant market demand in the context of global climate change and energy crisis.At the same time,with China’s accelerated transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry,the demand for high-end CNC machine tools has also significantly increased.Due to various reasons,the market is constantly changing,bringing huge challenges to the company’s production and operation.Based on this background,this article selects HM Company as the research object,a mechanical manufacturing company established in 1995.Its main products include tire molds and rubber machinery,component casting and precision machining,and CNC machine tools.With years of development,it has become a manufacturing base for tire molds worldwide and an influential manufacturer of high-end mechanical components.But with the rapid development,many problems are gradually exposed,and scientific and reasonable planning is needed for the company’s strategic development.This article combines some current business and functional issues in enterprises with the theoretical basis,research tools,and research directions of enterprise development strategies.It systematically analyzes the external development environment faced by the company’s development,such as politics,economy,society,and technology.The Porter Five Forces model is used to analyze the competitiveness of the enterprise,and the internal environment of the enterprise is also analyzed.The SWOT analysis method is used to explore the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise,as well as the opportunities and threats encountered in future development.Combined with the current vision and development goals of the enterprise,HM Company is suitable to adopt a development strategy that focuses on SO growth strategy and is supplemented by WO reversal strategy.In terms of strategic selection at the company level,adopt diversification strategy,integration strategy and internationalization strategy;In terms of business strategy,adopt a centralized differentiation strategy to improve product research and development positioning,operational management,and marketing;In terms of functional strategy,it is implemented from the aspects of operation and supply chain management,human resource management,and financial management.In the meanwhile,strong systems,innovative mechanisms,company culture,human resources,and financial security are adopted to achieve rapid development of the company.The research significance of this article on the development strategy of HM Company is to combine the theoretical knowledge learned by MBA with the development of the enterprise.As a typical private mechanical manufacturing enterprise,this article aims to provide effective theoretical guidance and reference for similar mechanical manufacturing enterprises,and assists them in formulating their development strategies.
