As people’s living standards improve, health awareness is also gradually rising, and demand for home medical products is steadily increasing. At present, most of these products in the domestic market are low-range products, with weak independent research and development and innovation capabilities, and are in urgent need of high value-added products to gain the initiative in the market. With the maturity of the Internet, big data and other emerging technologies,it has become possible for smart medical products to enter the home.Compared with traditional medical devices, smart medical products have the advantages of powerful data storage and analysis capabilities, more friendly human-machine interaction interface and diverse control methods. However, these new products face the challenge of low user acceptance. Therefore, this study uses the technology acceptance model as the basis and combines interaction design factors to build a Technology Acceptance Model for smart home medical products, aiming to provide a theoretical reference for the user perception perspective when designing the interaction design of these products. This thesis analyses the current state of research on Technology Acceptance Models and smart home medical products through literature survey methods, combines user interviews with existing theoretical research to explore three important factors in the interaction design of smart home medical products: interaction behaviour, interaction content and interaction form;compares the connotations and model structures of several variables of technology acceptance models, and compares the differences between the TAM model and the UTAUT model, providing a theoretical basis for subsequent research. Then, based on the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived safety, social influence, behavioral intention to use and interaction design factors,a Technology Acceptance Model of smart home medical products that integrates interaction design factors and user perception factors was proposed, and the hypothesis that the variables influence each other was put forward. After completing the reliability test,a structural equation analysis was conducted using Smart PLS software to investigate the influence of interaction design factors and user perception factors on the final intention to use.It was found that the interaction form had the most significant impact on user perception factors, while content and behaviour of interaction were also important factors influencing user perception. In addition, perceived usefulness, perceived safety and social influence have a significant impact on users’ intention to use. Finally, based on the revised model,a series of interaction design principles and strategies for smart home medical products based on user perception factors are proposed, and the design of a smart home physiotherapy device is completed, providing theoretical reference for the subsequent application of interaction design in the smart home medical product industry.
