In recent years,vocational education has ushered in a golden opportunity for development.The course of "Electric Power Dragging" is a professional course of electromechanical majors in secondary schools,which mainly cultivates skilled talents in electrician,and the current teaching method of this course has certain shortcomings,and is mostly based on traditional teaching methods.This has resulted in low student satisfaction with classroom teaching,slow development of logic skills,lack of team spirit and other problems,and less than ideal teaching results.In this paper,we study the Guided Text Teaching Method to provide a new approach to the teaching of the middle-level Power Dragging course.This paper combines theoretical and practical research,and takes "classification and common terminology of low-voltage electrical appliances" and "forward and reverse control circuits of three-phase cage asynchronous motors" as teaching design cases.Firstly,by reviewing relevant literature and sorting out domestic and international research,the concept of Guided Text Teaching Method and the connotation of Power Dragging course in domestic secondary schools were summarised,which laid a theoretical foundation for the study.Secondly,through investigation and research,we understand in detail the problems in the teaching of the middle-level Power Dragging course,including students’ low interest in learning,poor independent learning ability and limited development of ability,which make the teaching effect unsatisfactory.Again,based on the action-oriented principle of the Guiding Text Teaching Method,the guiding questions as a learning guide,the characteristics of teacher-student role exchange,and the analysis of the feasibility and necessity of the implementation of the teaching method,the Guiding Text Teaching Method was applied to the experimental class "Electric Power Dragging" course for teaching design and implementation.Finally,the results of the application of the teaching design were analysed,and the results showed that the Guided Text Teaching Method could improve students’ interest in learning,classroom teaching satisfaction and teamwork.It is an important foundation for students to learn subsequent courses and is important for the development of students’ vocational skills.The research process and practical experience of this paper provide a certain theoretical basis and practical reference value for the teaching of the middle-level "Power Dragging" course.
