The urban commercial complex encompasses a variety of functional architectural forms,including commercial,office,residential,entertainment,hotel,catering and other forms of industry,which can be called a complex but unified large building combination.With the rapid development of China’s economy,people’s lives gradually shifted to a higher level of quality life and spiritual pursuit,the social functions carried by the commercial complex are also increasingly enriched,and the fast development of the business complex has been further promoted.Since its birth,the business complex has been an important place for leisure and social exchanges,once too much attention to economic efficiency,ignoring the place spirit of public space and the spiritual pursuit of consumers,leading to its commercial form of one side,the degree of human design is lower,the public space component elements are not rich,the lack of infrastructure,the imbalance of the spatial scale,the absence of geographical and cultural characteristics of the phenomenon,with the development of a new transformation of the city,will be implanted by the "man-oriented" design concept.For the current situation,the biggest reason business complex can survive and attract consumers is experiential consumption,hence the design quality of public spaces is very important.Based on the above development background,this article uses commercial complex as research objects in the city of Nanchang,and uses Nanchang practical project as cases of transformation optimization,and proposes corresponding reform optimization strategies for different types of public spaces.This article will be explored from the following aspects: first,the use of field research methods,explore the behavior patterns and behavioral needs of consumers in the commercial complex outdoor public space;second,referring to the excellent design cases in Shanghai and Suzhou region,from the function and organizational form of the business complex,the form of public space performance,the analysis of the characteristics of the public space,and other elements,to examine the design path to shape the outdoor and public space of commercial complex.This article hopes to summarize the problems and shortcomings from the point of view of consumers on the basis of the study of environmental behavior,explore the design principles of the outdoor and public space of the commercial complex,and then conduct an example study of the complex public space,to establish cultural self-confidence development goals for the current complex projects,and make their own contribution.
