| With the rapid development of digital economy,the world is accelerating into the era of digital economy.In the "two sessions" held by the government in 2023,the National Data Bureau has defined the responsibility of promoting the development of digital economy as a whole,developing new advantages of digital economy,steadily promoting the deep integration and coordinated development of digital economy and entity enterprises,and creating a digital China.The power industry is an important part of the real economy,and the integration of the electricity market is an important link to promote the full flow of power resources and achieve optimal allocation of national transmissions.However,China’s traditional power-sharing market development model remains at the forefront,and the integration of the national electricity market has a long way to go.The development space of real industries is an important means of expanding a digital economy in order to achieve the transformation of traditional economic development models into smart digitalisation and accelerate the integration of electricity markets.Based on this,this paper selects 30 provinces(municipalities and districts)of China from 2013 to 2018 as the research object(excluding Tibet,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan),uses Samuelson "glacier cost" model to measure the market segmentation rate and then obtains the market integration index,and establishes the digital economy index system to measure the digital economy development index of each province.Finally,construct a fixed effect model to study the following problems:Check whether the development of digital economy has promoting effect to our electric power market integration? To test its transmission mechanism through mediating effect,is transaction efficiency a mediating variable? Finally,the core explanatory variable of "broadband access" policy pilot impact was changed to test its robustness.At the same time,subsample analysis was conducted to study whether the impact of digital economy on the integration of the electricity market is heterogeneous in different regions.The results tell that digital economy promotes the integration level of electricity market;Digital economy improves the integration level of electricity market by improving transaction efficiency. |
