As China’s urbanization continues to accelerate and a large number of young and middle-aged rural workers go out to work,the number of empty-nesters and left-behind children is also rising sharply.Under the background of rural revitalization strategy,whether the problem of empty nesters and left-behind children in rural areas can be better solved,etc.,is closely related to the problem of "three rural areas" in modern China.Junzhao Township,Dengfeng City,Henan Province is a traditional village with a long history and human resources,but the local rich natural resources and human resources have not been well explored and protected.Through actual research,there are still problems such as insufficient infrastructure and activity space for rural elderly and young groups that need to be improved.This paper takes the activity space of Junzhao Township,Dengfeng City,Henan Province as the material carrier to sort out the characteristics of rural elderly and young people’s behavior and psychological sharing behavior.Based on the theory of natural education,this paper studies the landscape design of the activity space shared by the old and the young in rural areas according to the behavioral needs of the old and the young.To design the space landscape environment that meets the needs of the old and the young sharing in the countryside,creating a rural atmosphere of good intergenerational integration.This paper mainly studies the following contents:The first part is related theory research.The theory of nature education and related concepts of shared activity space landscape for the aged and young are defined,and the scope of research objects is determined.Basic concepts such as the theory of nature education,the characteristics of the elderly,children’s physiological psychology and behavior,and the types and characteristics of children’s games are summarized,and the theory of nature education at home and abroad and the current situation of the activity space shared by the elderly and the young are sorted out,which provides theoretical support for the article.The second part summarizes the rural activity space for the elderly and the young according to the field research of Junzhao Township in Dengfeng City,Henan province,conducts a detailed investigation and analysis of the status quo of the rural activity space shared by the elderly and the young.According to the site overview and natural education design related content,summarizes the existing problems of the activity space in Junzhao village in Dengfeng City,Henan Province,and provides the design basis for the development of the shared activity space for the elderly and the young.The third part conducts a questionnaire survey for the rural elderly and children to understand the characteristics of the needs of the rural elderly and young groups in the activity space,which provides corresponding evaluation indicators for the construction of landscape design evaluation of the rural elderly and young sharing activity space under the concept of natural education,and provides corresponding basis for the proposal of design strategies.The fourth part takes the activity space of Huangcheng Village,Junzhao Township,Dengfeng City,Henan Province as an example,combines the existing natural education resources of Huangcheng village,and makes the research practical.The design exploration is carried out on the landscape design of the activity space shared by the old and the young under the natural education concept of Huangcheng Village,Junzhao Township,Henan Province,and puts forward the specific design planning and design strategy of five functional areas combined with the design planning.It provides a shared activity space for the old and young people in rural areas to promote emotional communication,intergenerational mutual assistance and integration,learn natural knowledge,feel and experience natural culture,so as to be helpful for the follow-up research on similar topics.
