River water body plays an important role in urban planning, site selection, social and economic development and historical and cultural spirit. In recent years, with the gradual intensification of global warming and extreme high temperature weather in cities, urban residents and tourists have an increasing demand for microclimate comfort in outdoor public Spaces along the waterfront.Taking Baihe Park and Matan Wetland Park in the urban waterfront parks along the Yellow River in Lanzhou as examples, this paper studies the influence of the public activity space form on the microclimate of the waterfront park from the pedestrian scale, and proposes the optimal design strategy of the public activity space of the Lanzhou waterfront park based on the microclimate comfort.Firstly, the public activity space and microclimate environment of Lanzhou Baihe Park and Matan Wetland Park were investigated and measured, and the types of public activity space were summarized and spatial form factors were quantified.Secondly, the microclimate distribution of different types of public activity Spaces was qualitatively compared and analyzed, and then the relevant influence of spatial form factors on microclimate was further quantitatively studied, and the relationship model between spatial form factors and microclimate with highly significant influence was established. Finally, the microclimate improvement strategy is proposed for the uncomfortable microclimate space, which provides a theoretical basis for the microclimate adaptability design of Lanzhou Waterfront Park public space in winter and summer. The research shows that in both winter and summer in Lanzhou waterfront park, compared with enclosed and covered type, open public activity space has stronger solar radiation, higher air temperature and higher wind speed. The sky viewability and interface permeability of public activity space are positively correlated with solar radiation, air temperature and wind velocity.Canopy canopy closure is negatively correlated with solar radiation and air temperature. Both the area and landscape shape index had no significant effect on the microclimate factors.Meanwhile,in winter, the distance between the public activity space and the water in Lanzhou waterfront Park is significantly negatively correlated with the relative humidity. In the summer of Lanzhou waterfront park, the leaf area index of public activity space has a very significant positive correlation with the relative humidity. In addition, the micro-climatic comfort of public activity space in Lanzhou waterfront Park in winter and summer can be improved through shading by buildings and plants and transpiration and cooling by water greening.First of all,it is suggested to increase the overall green coverage of the park, giving priority to planting tall trees in the south and east of the park public activity space for vertical shading;Secondly, the canopy of the public activity space in the park is arranged to construct the pavilion for horizontal roof shading. In addition, the public activity space of the park should be kept in a wide line of sight at the water interface to promote the infiltration of cool water and land winds, and contribute to the microclimate adaptive design of the public space of the urban waterfront park along the Yellow River in Lanzhou. |
