The Optimization Research On Pipe Supplier’s Selection Index System Of Yuguangtong Company

The global market competition is increasing,supply chain management has become a national strategy.For every enterprise,supply chain management runs through the whole process of material,information and capital transaction,playing a decisive role in reducing the overall cost and improving the return on investment.The foundation of supply chain management is firstly to use scientific and reasonable methods to select high-quality suppliers that meet its own needs,then carry out supplier management and collaboration,so as to achieve the goal of reducing operating costs,improving product quality,and reducing product inventory.More importantly,it is essential to form strategic cooperation with suppliers,form an integrated effect in the upstream and downstream of the supply chain to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises.Yuguangtong Company is a subsidiary of Lanzhou New Area Water Investment Management Group,which mainly purchases and supplies pipes for various water conservancy projects in Lanzhou New Area.Based on the current situation of Yuguangtong Company,this thesis focuses on the optimization of the pipe supplier’s selection index system.First of all,using questionnaire survey to analyze the problems of Yuguangtong’s existing pipe supplier selection index system,found out that the main reasons why the existing selection index system could not accurately evaluate the supplier’s product quality and delivery accuracy,and could not accurately reflect the supplier’s after-sales service ability,technical support ability and overall supply ability were that the existing pipe supplier selection index was not comprehensive,the index weight setting was not scientific,and the index scoring standard is not objective.Secondly,based on the above problems and causes,the thesis puts forward an optimization solution for the selection indicators of pipe suppliers: improve the existing selection indicators of pipe suppliers by using the literature analysis method;scientifically formulate the weights of indicators at all levels using the analytic hierarchy process;optimize the selection of index scoring criteria through in-depth discussion with experts,.Finally,the implementation process and guarantee measures of the optimization solution of the pipe supplier selection index system of Yuguangtong Company are given.The optimized solution of the pipe supplier selection index system of Yuguangtong Company proposed in this thesis does not only provides a scientific and accurate pipe supplier selection solution,improves the product quality and service level of Yuguangtong company,but also provides references for other pipe supplier enterprises.
