| Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to the transmission of red genes.As a material carrier for carrying and promoting red culture,the Red Memorial Hall integrates cultural memory and embodied knowledge,tells the red history of the country’s revolution and development,and passes on the red spirit formed during this journey,with significant educational functions and great value for the times.This thesis combines the narrative design of red cultural memorials with the flow theory,and analyses the narrative design of contemporary red cultural memorials from the perspective of flow experience.With the aim of improving the guidance,feedback and interactivity of memorials,this thesis summarises the narrative design method of red cultural memorials based on the flow theory.The thesis consists of three parts:The first part is the basic research.The first chapter introduces the background,content,purpose and significance of the thesis.This chapter establishes the research methodology and framework,and summarises the current state of research on flow theory,red cultural memorials and narrative design.The second chapter clarifies the concept,classification,characteristics and contemporary values of red cultural memorials,and explains the definition and conditional model of flow theory,deciphers the elements of flow experience.This chapter also takes a look at the evolution of narratology,the connection between architecture and narrative,and the ways in which architectural narrative can be used.The second part is an analytical study.In the third chapter,on the basis of analysing the correlation between the flow theory,red cultural memorials and narrative design,typical red memorials are selected as research objects,and data from online reviews are collected and analysed.The embodiment of the elements of flow in the visiting experience of red cultural memorials is analysed.The elements of the mindstream are correlated with the behaviour and needs of visitors,and the triggering conditions for the central stream of narrative design in red cultural memorials are summarised.Based on the dynamic and continuous experience of the narrative space,Chapter 4 summarises the narrative design methods of red memorial museums that trigger the flow experience,by combining the specific characteristics of red memorial museums,from three aspects: clear dynamic lines to assist spatial guidance,atmospheric feedback to enhance red perception,and technological interaction to strengthen interactive experience.The third part is a practical study.Chapter 5 combines the design practice of the Yudu Long March Departure Site Memorial Hall with the generation of flow as a result-oriented approach to the application of the narrative design method in three aspects.Namely,the visiting route,the red atmosphere and the interactive experience.The practice is used to further validate the rationality and feasibility of the application of flow theory to the narrative design of red cultural memorials.With the development of the times,red cultural memorial halls,as an important material carrier of red culture and revolutionary spirit,are paying more and more attention to the immersive emotional experience of visitors.Through the research of this thesis,the aim is to effectively interpret the red messages conveyed by the architectural space and make visitors emotionally resonant,thus realising the emotional experience demanded by red cultural memorials.It is hoped that it will provide new design ideas for the new era of red cultural memorials. |
