| In recent years, with the accelerating process of urban renewal, people pay more attention to the renewal and optimization of the old residential areas. As an important part of the old urban area, the renewal direction of the old residential areas around the rail station is closely related to residents’ life happiness. The establishment of the track station not only brings convenient and green travel modes for the residents of the surrounding old residential areas, accelerates the efficiency of housing circulation, improves the intensity of various public commercial facilities outside, but also puts forward new demands for the public space inside the community. However high the user proportion of the station is,the overall needs and opinions of the community residents should be considered. Therefore,in the era of urban renewal,it is urgent to explore the influence mechanism of rail stations on the public space of the surrounding old residential areas, integrate the spatial activity needs of residents using rail stations and residents in the traditional old residential areas, and explore the optimization strategy more suitable for the public space of the old residential areas around rail stations. In order to improve the utilization efficiency of public space at all levels in the old community around the track station, and strengthen the matching degree of spatial planning and facility layout with various residents’ daily activities, this study, based on the social network model, takes the influence mechanism of the track station on the surrounding old community and the internal demands of residents in the old community as the starting point, and takes the internal public space of the old community as the research object.A systematic and universal research framework of public space optimization strategy in the old residential areas around railway stations is constructed. The correlation between the social network model and the quantitative analysis of the public space in the old residential areas is discussed, and the traditional social network model is optimized. The spatial planning countermeasures to improve the public space in the old residential areas around railway stations are studied from both theoretical and practical levels. This study is divided into six chapters. The first and second chapters are the basic research part of the paper, the third chapter is the research part of object characteristics and residents’ needs, and the fourth and fifth chapters are the empirical case study. The specific contents of each part are as follows:Chapter One: Introduction.Based on the current industry progress and hot topics as the research background, the corresponding research questions are put forward, the purpose and significance of the research, the research content and methods are elaborated in turn, and then the innovation of this research is explained and the logical framework of the full text is listed.Chapter two: Theoretical and practical basis,is the basic part of this research.Define relevant concepts needed for this research, elaborate relevant theoretical research, systematically comb the evolution process of social network analysis, public space around track stations, public space in old residential areas and the status quo of theoretical research at home and abroad, and combine with relevant professional theories and excellent practice cases to carry out in-depth analysis, and point out the advantages and shortcomings of the current research.Provide basic theoretical support for the following paper.Chapter Three: Characteristics and requirements analysis. The relevant characteristics of the old neighborhood around the track station are explained, the differences between the old neighborhood and the traditional old neighborhood are explained, and the influence mechanism of the track station on its public space is analyzed.Four types of typical old residential areas in Beijing are selected as the research object, and two types of residents in the same community are respectively surveyed by questionnaire, and the demand characteristics of residents in the old residential areas in the three-level public space system of "point-linesurface" are obtained by horizontal comparison.Chapter four: Planning strategy exploration. On the theoretical basis of the previous study, the optimization principle of the public space of the old community around the track station is put forward, and the optimization direction of the old community around the track station is summarized and predicted by analyzing the current practical cases and relevant industry trends. The social network model of public space in the old community is built.Based on the traditional social network model, the activity characteristics of residents in the old community are refined and upgraded, the spatial network and activity network are divided, and the model index system is constructed. In order to make the quantitative research method more extensible, the traditional three-level spatial structure of "point-lineplane" is transformed into the three-level spatial structure of "system-alley-node" corresponding to the social network model, and on this basis, the spatial optimization strategy is proposed according to the needs of residents.Chapter Five: empirical research.Taking three districts and one community of Sanlihe in Beijing as the research object, the proposed universal optimization strategy is verified in practice.Through field investigation and questionnaire survey, the basic situation of the community and the satisfaction degree of residents at the present stage were sorted out,the spatial network and activity network model were constructed, the matching degree of public space and public activities was analyzed, and specific optimization strategies were proposed according to the analysis conclusions.Chapter six: Conclusion and prospect. This paper summarizes the ideas, methods and practices of strategy research and construction, and puts forward the shortcomings of the research as the direction of future research. The innovation points of this research can be summarized as follows:(1)To optimize the original social network model according to the characteristics of the old neighborhood around the track station;(2)Transform the traditional "point-line-surface" public space hierarchy into "system-alley-node" hierarchy to increase the extendiability of the method;(3)Summarize the differences between the old and traditional old neighborhoods around the track stations, analyze the impact mechanism of the stations on their public space, and integrate the space needs of users and non-users of the track stations in the old neighborhoods to build the overall residents’ demand network. |
