Urban functions largely determine the location characteristics of industries.Especially in recent years,domestic cities have developed rapidly,and urban function differentiation has accelerated the impact on industrial location,thus promoting the reconstruction of industries in space.This paper takes the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as an example to study the impact of urban functions on industries spatial reconstruction.According to the logic of "theoretical analysis-urban function measurement and evaluation-industrial spatial reconstruction analysis-empirical analysis-policy recommendations",the following questions are specifically discussed:What is the current urban function level of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration?What are the location characteristics of industrial spatial reconstruction? What impact will urban functions have on industrial spatial reconstruction? The main research contents are as follows:First,from the perspective of the location selection of micro scale enterprise,the spatial reconstruction of meso scale industries,and the threshold characteristics of Productive services influencing urban function in interaction,this paper analyzes the impact of urban functions on industrial spatial reconstruction,and then puts forward hypothesis 1: urban functions and sub functions can directly affect industrial spatial reconstruction,but the direction of the impact on industrial spatial reconstruction is uncertain.Hypothesis 2: When the concentration level of producer services is taken as the threshold variable,the impact of urban functions on industrial restructuring is nonlinear.Second,from the four perspectives of ecology,life,transportation and administration,a multi-indicator system for the evaluation of urban function level is constructed.I use the entropy method to calculate and analyze and found that there is no obvious time sequence law for the comprehensive function and sub function levels of cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,but there is an obvious "center-periphery" distribution feature,in which the central area is mostly within the "one core and five circles" range,and the peripheral areas are mostly at the edge of the urban agglomeration.Third,this paper reflects the industrial spatial reconstruction based on the relative changes in the spatial status of the advantageous industrial sectors,calculates and analyzes the space-time characteristics of the overall and individual industrial changes of the urban agglomeration,and finds that the industrial spatial reconstruction characteristics of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration in three provinces and one city are different,which are closely related to the functional positioning,development planning and development level of each city.Generally speaking,the distribution area of the industrialization trend of industrial spatial reconstruction is gradually shifting from west to east,the distribution area of industrialization trend gradually shifted from east to west.Fourthly,this paper uses individual fixed effect panel model and threshold model to empirically test the impact of urban comprehensive functions and sub functions on industrial spatial reconstruction,combining heterogeneity analysis and robustness test.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Urban comprehensive functions promote the industrialization trend of industrial restructuring,administrative functions significantly promote the deindustrialization trend of industrial restructuring,and transportation functions,ecological functions and living functions significantly promote the industrialization trend of industrial restructuring.(2)Different concentration levels of producer services will change the impact of urban functions,making urban comprehensive functions and sub functions have an "invisible promotion" effect on the trend of industrial spatial reconstruction and deindustrialization.(3)In the samples of different city types,the functional level of central cities is positively related to the deindustrialization trend of industrial restructuring,while the surrounding cities are negatively related to the industrialization trend of industrial restructuring;In the samples of different industrial restructuring patterns,urban functions promote the formation of service oriented spaces with general orientation,labor-intensive orientation and technology intensive orientation,while inhibit the service oriented spaces with advanced orientation and capital intensive orientation.With the conclusions above,this paper proposes the following policy recommendations:(1)Coordinate the functional positioning of central cities and peripheral cities to promote balanced regional development.(2)Give play to the advantages of city functions and optimize the industrial spatial pattern.(3)To clarify the interaction between industry and urban functions,we need to face up to the dominant position of manufacturing industry and strengthen the construction of producer services.The possible innovations of this paper are:(1)perspective innovation.The existing literature focuses on the study of urban function differentiation from the perspective of industry,while this paper,taking urban function as the starting point,analyzes the logic of the impact of urban function on the industrial spatial reconstruction from the micromeso-interaction levels,which is hierarchical and progressive.(2)Index innovation.The connotation of urban function is relatively complex,but this paper combines the research issues,and choose the index between the similarities and differences between different cities,and constructs a relatively complete urban function evaluation system.(3)Method innovation.In the existing literature,most of the studies on cities and industries are theoretical models and statistical analysis.In this paper,fixed effect regression and threshold regression models are used for empirical testing,so there is marginal innovation in research methods.
