"Common People’s Daily life is Tao" is a philosophical proposition put forward b y the Chinese thinker Wang Gen in Ming Dynasty,advocating that the sacred Tao is re flected in People’s Daily life,this thought has a lasting and profound influence in socia l production and life.In this paper,starting from the combination of ancient Chinese c reation thought and modern design,the author excavates the essential connotation of "daily use is Tao" thought in the field of design,combines the design of cultural and cre ative products and how to penetrate and apply the idea of "daily use is Tao",and summ arizes the application principles oriented by user needs,cultural content,emotional res onance and fun interaction.And the typical characteristics of practical economy,cultur al memorial and artistic aesthetics.In combination with the case design of Neishui sto ne carvings in southwest Shanxi,elements are extracted from the type,shape,meaning and feeling of stone statues to design thematic cultural and creative products.In this p aper,while paying attention to the creation thought of traditional Chinese design,the c onnotation is reflected in the integration of traditional culture and modern design,focu sing on the visual presentation of relevant content,and exploring the way of integratio n between culture and image.Firstly,it expounds the thought theory of "daily use is Tao",summarizes the influ ence and significance of the thought in the field of design,explores the internal connec tion with cultural creative products,and provides ideological guidance for the summar y of subsequent design concepts and methods.Secondly,based on the development sta tus of the cultural and creative market related to Shanxi Nannieshui stone carvings,the artistic characteristics,characteristics of The Times,decorative patterns and other con tents of Shanxi Nannieshui stone carvings are sorted out and extracted.Finally,aiming at the problem of how cultural and creative products enter People’s Daily life,combin ing with the design concept of "daily use is Tao",taking the content as the orientation and starting from the perspective of practicability,interactivity and interest,this paper verifies the feasibility of the design methodology of the author’s case--the design pro cess and results of the Nieshui Stone Carving cultural and creative products in Southw est China,and achieves emotional resonance through diversified carriers.To achieve t he purpose of cultural export.
