Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,all countries are actively promoting the transformation of energy structure,in order to achieve clean and low-carbon environmental protection purposes.They have worked out a series of future development strategies,which have enabled new energy vehicles to flourish around the world.The penetration rate of new energy vehicles in China has increased rapidly.Thanks to the improvement of product quality,the improvement of basic charging facilities,and the promotion of policies,China has become the world’s strongest market for production and sales of new energy vehicles,maintaining the top position globally for eight consecutive years.Due to the progress of new energy vehicle technology and the rapid development of the international electric vehicle application market,lithium battery has also ushered in explosive growth,becoming a highlight of the automobile industry.QIYI Automotive Limited Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of state-owned enterprise FAW Group.It has been established for more than 60 years.It is an automobile mold and welding manufacturing enterprise of the same age as the Chinese automobile industry.In order to comply with the development trend of new energy vehicles,QIYI Automotive Limited Company began to develop new energy business.The new energy business of QIYI Automotive Limited Company was established in 2021,and started to engage in the new energy power lithium battery industry.Under the current situation of rapid development of new energy industry,continuous technological innovation and stable market pattern,the development of new energy business of QIYI Automotive Limited Company is directly faced with many key problems such as late start of business,insufficient personnel allocation,less technical mastery and low market popularity.These factors also lead to slow progress in the development of new energy business of the company.How to adjust the development strategy of the new energy business,enhance the competitive position and competitive advantage of the industry,and obtain more development opportunities is a major and urgent issue.This paper will apply the theory of strategic management to discuss the development strategy of new energy business of QIYI Company.After examining the current state of the company,we will explore the existing problems and their causes.Based on this,PEST analysis method and Porter’s Five Forces model are adopted to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the internal and external business environment of new energy business of QIYI Company,and SWOT is used to deeply explore the opportunities and threats,strengths and weaknesses faced by the company,so as to clarify the short,medium and long-term development goals of the company,and accurately grasp the opportunities and challenges in the development.Finally,a set of effective growth strategy is proposed,that is,to carry out new technology research and development through multiple channels,fully mobilize enterprise resources,expand personnel,expand production capacity,accelerate the construction of production bases in various locations,strengthen brand building and market development,absorb parts supply partners to build backward integrated supply chain system,and improve the integrity of the industrial chain.Through well-designed human resource management,effective incentive mechanism and perfect training system,QIYI Company continues to improve the corporate culture and increase capital investment,in order to ensure the sustainability of the new energy business,to achieve the strategic goal of the growth of the enterprise,to obtain the improvement of efficiency,and ultimately to achieve the vision of the enterprise’s new energy business toward internationalization.
