Since the new century,the world economic landscape has undergone profound changes,and the adjustment of global energy strategies and supply and demand have also undergone significant adjustments.After the reform of China’s electricity system,China’s electricity and energy supply has diversified,with four major power generation modes classified according to the proportion of power generation:hydropower,thermal power,new energy,and nuclear power.Due to the shortage of fossil fuels,in the context of building a harmonious society and promoting economic circular development in China,it is necessary to focus on the impact of electric power development on the environment and reduce the use of non renewable nature.Therefore,the country strongly advocates the construction of clean and low-carbon energy bases,the development of green new energy,and the promotion of the development and construction of clean energy such as wind,light,and nuclear,to effectively replace coal for power generation.The Huaxia Nuclear Power Company studied in this article is a potential enterprise focusing on nuclear power generation.Huaxia Nuclear Power Company is mainly engaged in the investment and development of nuclear power,production and operation,grid connection power transmission,nuclear power generation,and scientific research and development and technical services in nuclear energy related fields;Affiliated to China Huaneng Group,responsible for the group’s nuclear power generation sector.However,in the face of the rapid development of new energy power generation,the economic downturn under the COVID-19,the decline of market demand for power energy,which further affects the consumption of power grid for power energy,and the long-term layout of other three nuclear power groups,Huaxia Nuclear Power Company is facing severe challenges.However,in the context of the 14 th Five Year Plan and the "dual carbon" goal,the state requires the construction of a modern energy system,the promotion of energy supply side reform,and the creation of a clean and low-carbon green energy base,which creates a superior environment for the take-off of nuclear power.Huaxia Nuclear Power Company should seize the opportunities given by the times,formulate long-term development strategic plans,maintain long-term sustainable development of the company,and maintain a leading edge in the competition in the nuclear power industry.This paper is based on the national 14 th Five Year Plan and the "dual carbon" goal,to build a modern energy system,promote energy supply side reform,and build a clean,low-carbon,safe,and efficient energy system.Using the knowledge of strategic management theory system,it explores the development strategy of Huaxia Nuclear Power Company.On the basis of analyzing the current development status of Huaxia Nuclear Power Company,the paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the problems that exist in the company’s current development and the reasons for these problems.On this basis,a comprehensive analysis was conducted on the internal business environment and external macro environment of Huaxia Nuclear Power Company.The SWOT model and QSPM matrix were used to deeply analyze the opportunities and threats,advantages and disadvantages faced by the company.The company’s short-term,medium-term,and long-term development plans were clarified,and the opportunities and challenges faced in the company’s development were accurately grasped.It was proposed that Huaxia Nuclear Power Company should choose the SO strategy,which is to strengthen its capital operation capabilities,Continue to increase installed capacity through the exchange of electricity assets(equity)and direct investment in large nuclear power projects;Relying on the advantages of innovative technology and utilizing the fourth generation nuclear power technology as differentiated products,we will advance our inland layout and create a new nuclear power brand in China;In the context of the national "the Belt and Road" policy,the company adheres to the nuclear power "going out" strategy,exports the fourth generation nuclear power,diversified development,and build Huaxia Nuclear Power Company into a world-class nuclear power enterprise and a leader in the world nuclear power industry.In addition,it is hoped that enterprises of the same or similar type as Huaxia Nuclear Power can draw inspiration from this study to achieve better development and jointly contribute to the healthy and sustainable development of the nuclear power industry.
