In recent years,with the sharp decline of demographic dividend,the slowdown of urbanization,the acceleration of population aging and the recurrence of the epidemic since2020,the domestic macroeconomic continues to decline.Because the generally harsh working environment and uncompetitive pay level,the household appliance manufacturing industry is facing the problem of hard to recruit and retain;external factor such as rising raw material prices have led to rising production costs in the industry,In addition,the competition among enterprises has also changed from the battle for market share to diversified competition such as brand effect,operation cost control,after-sales service,etc.In view of this,it is urgent to change the original extensive production mode to high efficiency production to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.G Company is a manufacturing enterprise mainly engaged in the production of household air conditioning,gradually covering commercial air-conditioning,special air-conditioning,refrigeration,industrial cooling,high-end equipment,household goods,communication equipment,and other fields through independent research and development.This article,based on G Company,using literature research,quantitative analysis and case analysis methods to integrate the concept of lean production into G Company’s production management improvement.This paper first organizes and analyzes the research content of relevant topics at home and abroad,and provides a detailed introduction to the theoretical knowledge of basic tools for lean production.On the basis of the above theoretical research,the text provides a detailed introduction to the lean production method implemented by G Company,and analyzes the problems existing in G Company’s workshop and facility layout,logistics distribution,manufacturing process,and other aspects,and explores why.This study proposes improvement schemes in workshop and other four aspects:workshop and warehouse layout,logistics and packaging,balanced production,and production line balance.Finally,it introduces the implementation guarantee measures for production management improvement in G company,and evaluates the effectiveness of the improvement research to prove that lean production has significant effects in production management improvement.Focusing on the core issues and key influencing factors of the production management of G company,and combines the theories and tools of lean production theory,lean layout design,value steam mapping,balanced production,production line balance,etc.,the paper mainly studies the improvement of production management of G company.Based on the analysis of real data,this paper summarizes the production management improvement methods of G Company.This way of doing research on individual cases makes the scheme of production management improvement of household appliance manufacturing industry more targeted and the research conclusion more practical.This study combines lean production theory with actual production and is committed to studying the methods to improve the production efficiency and management efficiency of G Company.At the same time,the paper establishes a set of efficient,low-cost and systematic production management improvement programs that are consistent with the current manufacturing industry,and provides some new ideas and methods for the production management improvement research of other manufacturing enterprises.
