Abstract/Summary:
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19,the global economy has been impacted a lot.Due to different prevention policies around the world,the manufacturing industry in Europe and the United States has been more obviously affected and even has been stagnant for a long time.At the same time,due to China’s domestic strong epidemic prevention actions,China’s manufacturing industry has made rapid progress,further reflecting,and consolidating the status of the "world factory",and to a certain extent,undertaking a considerable part of the world’s industrial supply.To transport Chinese-made goods to countries around the world,the demand for global shipping industry has exploded,and the demand for containers has also exploded,and the transportation price of a single container has increased about 10 times in a short period of time,and even a situation of "difficult to find a container".As a result,orders for China’s domestic container manufacturing industry have exploded.Company M is a Fortune 500 company wholly owned by Denmark,mainly producing refrigerated containers with high profit margins.Its 2022 orders are much higher than previous years.Due to the long history of the factory,and after many changes in property rights and changes in management,its production management system is relatively chaotic.The production management process is full of all kinds of waste,especially in efficiency and quality management,there is huge opportunity for improvement.In the management of labor,there is also huge opportunity for improvement.Therefore,it is urgent to study and analyze the production management problems of Company M and adopt targeted solutions.This article takes Company M as the background,target to improve production management,and focuses on how Company M flexibly introduces lean production concepts and methods in production management.Through research,analysis,and summary of a series of problems in the current production management of M company,and targeted use of lean tools such as line balance,standard work,and TPM to analyze and propose improvement suggestions.Among them,line balance focuses on the identification and improvement of bottleneck processes in the production process,standard work focuses on standardized management of the production process,and TPM focuses on equipment maintenance and downtime reduction.To continuously improve the production efficiency and delivery ability of M company,reduce all kinds of waste,and bring higher benefits and stronger market competitiveness to M company.At the same time,we are committed to creating a stable lean production management system in M company,including setup lean council and deploy continuous improvement for everyone system,so that it can integrate lean manufacturing into the genes of the enterprise and continue to implement it efficiently.It has very important theoretical and practical guiding significance for eliminating enterprise cost waste,improving enterprise operation efficiency,and enhancing the rapid response ability of enterprise market.
