| With the continuous evolution of the new generation of digital technologies,countries around the world are actively promoting intelligent reforms and introducing new dynamics to promote industrial development.In 2015,the concepts of "Made in China 2025" and "Internet Plus" were formally proposed by the government,and traditional manufacturing companies launched strategic plans for transformation based on the new generation of digital technology,receiving policy support from the government.The spread of the COVID-19 in 2020 has put global economic development under a cloud,and many enterprises are experiencing difficulties or even facing stagnation in their development.Many offline businesses are forced to be completed online,and intelligent transformation is no longer an option,but a necessity for enterprises to change their business status.Therefore,studying the operating performance of enterprises under the background of intelligent transformation has certain theoretical significance and research value.Changan Automobile,as an old state-owned manufacturing enterprise and an early adopter of intelligent transformation in the industry,has certain demonstrative significance for studying its operating performance.This paper conducts a case study of Changan Automobile’s business performance and analyzes the changes in its business performance and the problems in the process of transformation under the background of intelligent transformation.Firstly,this paper summarizes the background,purpose and significance of the study.It also defines the concepts of intelligent transformation and business performance,and composes and summarizes relevant domestic and international literature on intelligent transformation,business performance and the relationship between intelligent transformation and business performance.Secondly,the case of Changan Automobile’s intelligent transformation is introduced,and the transformation motives,transformation stages,and measures of each stage are sorted out.Again,based on the Balanced Scorecard theory,this article constructs a comprehensive evaluation system for Changan Automobile’s operating performance,selects relevant indicators from 2012 to 2021 as panel data.The entropy value method combined with the hierarchical analysis method was used to score its business performance during the ten years of intelligent transformation.Then,the changes of its business performance scores were analyzed and studied,and the study concluded that Changan Automobile’s business performance performance improved overall in the context of intelligent transformation.Among them,the business performance of financial dimension and internal operation dimension improved significantly,while the business performance of customer dimension and learning and growth dimension did not improve.The problems that still exist in the transformation and their causes are explored according to the performance of each dimension.Finally,the paper proposes corresponding improvement suggestions for the problems in the intelligent transformation.This paper mainly has the following three research results.Firstly,this paper composes the case of Changan Automobile’s intelligent transformation and summarizes and analyzes the motivation and process of Changan Automobile’s transformation.Secondly,this paper builds a comprehensive evaluation system of Changan Automobile’s business performance,draws out the changes of Changan Automobile’s business performance in the process of intelligent transformation,and finds out the problems of Changan Automobile in intelligent transformation.Thirdly,it proposes targeted suggestions for improving Changan Automobile’s operating performance,hoping to provide experience for similar automobile manufacturing enterprises to carry out intelligent transformation through the study of this case. |
