Research On The Walking System Of Railway Station’s Catchment Area From The Perspective Of Station-city Integration

As a type of building,railway passenger station has been gradually researched and explored by scholars with the vigorous development of rail transit in our country.As a traffic type of building,railway passenger station mainly undertakes the functional requirements between the external traffic of the city and the transfer traffic within the city.In terms of transportation,a large number of passenger flows from outside and inside the city need to be delivered to or from the railway station in a concentrated and fast manner.Therefore,the connection traffic of railway passenger station is a relatively complex system in the design.In the vicinity of the railway passenger station,it is necessary to consider its integration with the urban external traffic system and the urban comprehensive traffic system,long-distance passenger stations,urban public transportation,rail transit,etc.Most of the traffic stations are arranged around railway passenger stations,so that the rapid distribution and distribution of traffic can be realized.In terms of urban space,the railway station also has functions such as urban living rooms,which closely connect the railway station with the surrounding urban space,activate the overall vitality of the surrounding cities through the "node effect" of the railway station,and realize the transformation of nodes and places.Among them,walking is the most basic way of connecting the railway station with other modes of transportation and urban space,and it is one of the contents to be explored under the background of station-city integration.This paper mainly takes the integration of station and city as the theoretical background of the research,and sets the research focus as the pedestrian system of railway station space.The author conducts a preliminary study on the station area walking system by investigating and analyzing the actual cases of railway passenger stations that have been completed,and combining with the literature reading materials of unfinished railway passenger station cases under the background of station-city integration.Taking the station-area walking system as the core,the research framework of the whole system is constructed.Through the research on the traffic organization mode and space form of the pedestrian system,the paper summarizes the common pedestrian traffic organization mode and the attention points in the space form design in the station area space design of railway passenger stations.Firstly,this paper defines the spatial scope of this station area in the second chapter,and outlines the evolution period of my country’s station area walking system.At the same time,the functional role of the walking system found in the study is described.The third chapter mainly builds the four components of the station space pedestrian system according to the functions of the previous chapter,namely the traffic transfer pedestrian system,the functional space pedestrian system,the public space pedestrian system and the landscape pedestrian system.And in the follow-up,the main components and characteristics of each walking system are sorted out respectively,so as to facilitate the research of subsequent articles.Secondly,in the fourth chapter,in the research on the organizational modes of different walking systems,with the help of research cases,it summarizes the typical organizational modes,and expounds the reasons for the formation of different organizational modes and the spatial characteristics of the modes.Finally,in the fifth chapter,through the research on the space form of the important pedestrian space,it expounds the morphological characteristics and space shaping in the design of the pedestrian space in the station area.
