Research On Residual Space Renovation Of Old Community Boundary

Old community is key points of urban renewal in the stage of fine development.Research proposes residual space renovation of urban old community boundary as a method to improve urban vulnerable living space,and expand the public space of urban old community,to change the inherent character of inward closure in old community,and provide in-depth driving force for realizing the ideal vision of urban life without boundaries.Research investigates and analyzes current situation of boundary residual space of Nanjing’s old community.For renovation theory,research attempts to build a renovation model,put forward the overall goal and principle and expounds the renewal power,renewal demand of users and the renewal mechanism in detail.For practice strategy,research puts forward the basic orientation based on case studies and field research,summarizes the functional strategy,spatial strategy,technical strategy and humanity strategy to realize the goal of renovation through systematic practice.Research aims to focus on urban vulnerable living space and its associated spatial needs of underprivileged groups,to realize truly high-quality and humane urban renovation vision and inspire relevant further research.
