As a kind of low-carbon and environment-friendly transportation,new energy vehicles are favored by more and more consumers.However,the charging problem of new energy vehicles has also become an important factor limiting their development.The construction and operation of charging piles and charging stations can help solve the charging problem of new energy vehicles,improve the convenience and satisfaction of users,promote China’s energy transformation and help double carbon policy in order to achieve sustainable development.The main business of charging pile operators is to plan and operate charging piles and charging stations to replenish energy for new energy vehicles,which is an important role in achieving green mobility and dual-carbon goals.However,charging pile operator still face many challenges,such as uncertain business model,difficult profitability,and fierce competition,etc.As a leading charging pile operator in China,Company T has certain advantages in terms of market share,technology level,and service quality,but we cannot ignore the impact and risk caused by the above problems on its development.This paper takes Company T as an example,suggests optimization of its business model based on the perspective of value creation,and analyzes its feasibility and effectiveness,with a view to contributing to the development of the company and the industry.This article first sorts out the theories related to business models,selects the research ideas of the value creation path of business models that are currently recognized by the academic community,and constructs a four-dimensional business model value creation cycle model of value proposition,value generation,value transmission,and value acquisition.Secondly,this article analyzes the core products and industry chain of the charging station operation industry,focusing on the operational models of the two leading enterprises,charging point and Star Charging,clarifying the industry pain points and preliminary optimization ideas.Thirdly,this paper uses the business model canvas model to sort out the business model of Company T.From the perspective of value creation,it summarizes the current problems of Company T’s business model in four aspects:the diversion of competitors from customers,the low utilization rate of charging pile resources,the brand recognition to be improved,and the slow investment of charging piles in large profits.Finally,combined with the value creation cycle model of the business model,the customer segmentation,key activities,channel channels,and cost structure of Company T were optimized from four aspects:value proposition,value generation,value transmission,and value acquisition.Five safeguard measures were proposed to promote the further development of Company T and the charging pile operation business community. |
