With the development of economic construction in our country,the construction of electric power infrastructure is also increasing.As an important part of national infrastructure construction,the quality of power infrastructure projects is directly related to the pace of national power grid construction.The booming power infrastructure projects not only meet the needs of the development of the power industry,but also encounter a series of problems such as high power engineering costs,delayed operation,and reduced engineering quality.Among them,the issue of project schedule is particularly prominent.The typical characteristics of power construction projects,such as intensive capital,complex specialties,multiple cross operations,complex technology,limited site,continuous operations,and insufficient construction cycle,as well as many external influencing factors such as project design,manufacturing of equipment used in the project,procurement of equipment and materials,transportation,etc.,pose higher requirements for improving the progress management of power construction projects,which also promotes the high-quality development of the power industry The only way to improve the efficiency of power enterprises.Based on the research of schedule management and key chain technology at home and abroad,and taking the X Substation Construction Project Management mode as the research object,this paper analyzes the problems existing in the traditional substation construction project schedule management,a schedule management mode for substation construction projects based on key chain technology is proposed.According to the key chain technology points,the link-up relation of working procedure is rearranged,and the critical chain of the project is analyzed and identified on the premise of considering the resource constraint,determining the buffer size using the elastic coefficient method,and then the optimized schedule is obtained.Finally,in order to ensure the effective implementation of progress,a buffer management mechanism is established for progress control,and through the progress control of various safeguards to pledge the successful completion of the X Substation project.In this paper,we discuss how to deeply integrate critical chain schedule management and X substation construction engineering,with the intention of providing some reference and reference for similar projects encountered in the work.
