| With the continuous improvement of our country’s educational level and requirements for running schools,the demands of funds are increasing as well.However,local financial ability is limited and education funds can not cover the demands.In this circumstance,the application of PPP model in the field of education can effectively alleviate as urgent danger to a certain extent.According to the Project management Database of Government-Social Capital Cooperation Center(hereinafter referred to as Project management database):Since Jiangsu Province released the first PPP project in the field of education in February 2016,there have been numerous PPP projects in the field of education in provinces across the country.As of May 2022,there are 519 education projects in the project management database,including teaching infrastructure,logistics support and new campus construction.However,the current development of PPP projects in the field of education is not balanced.There are more projects in Shandong,Henan,Zhejiang,Anhui and other provinces,while few projects in Beijing,Shanghai,Chongqing,Tianjin and other provinces.In view of this,in order to fully understand the spatial distribution characteristics and influencing factors of PPP projects in the field of education,this paper collects all the PPP projects in the field of education from the project management database.GIS and mathematical statistics tools are used to explore the spatial distribution characteristics of PPP projects in the field of education.On the basis of literature research,the influential factors of the spatial distribution of PPP projects in the field of education are summarized.The spatial econometric model is used to analyze the influence of the PPP projects,and the key influencing factors are extracted.The interpretation power of a single factor and the interaction type and explanatory power after pairwise interaction of key influencing factors were explored by using the geographical detector model.The research showed that:(1)PPP projects in the field of education have spatial heterogeneity and agglomeration distribution(high-value clustering).Specifically,nearly 68%of PPP projects in the field of education are covered within 975KM from 112.832° east longitude to 32.458° north latitude(Nanyang,Henan);The direction is 101.78°,which is not obvious.(2)The nuclear density distribution of PPP projects in the field of education has the following characteristics:(1)With Heihe Tengchong line as the boundary,the nuclear density circle of PPP projects in the field of education is almost distributed below the Heihe Tengchong line.②One high density core circle,two high density core circles,four low density core circles and several low density core circles are formed.(3)The distribution of nuclear density shows strong agglomeration characteristics and radiation effects.(3)Government reputation(X4),government capacity(XS),industrial structure(X8),economic development level(X9),fixed assets investoent(X11),human capital accumulation(X13),and the number of schools(X18)are all key factors affecting PPP projects in education.(4)The reasons for the difference of the spatial distribution of the first driving factor in different regions are not the same,and the interaction of any two key factors is enhanced,including double factor enhancement and nonlinear enhancement.This study has made a comprehensive and detailed study on the spatial distribution and influencing factors of PPP projects in the field of education,wich is helpful to provide a reference for the further decision-making of the government and social capital,and is of great significance for promoting the balanced development of PPP projects in the field of education. |
