Research On The Design Of Public Environmental Facilities Aiming At Enhancing The Sense Of Social Participation Of The Elderly

The growth of the aging population has become an irreversible trend in the world,and the problem of aging in our country is becoming more and more serious.However,at present,when the society develops security and services for the elderly,it pays more attention to the physical health and living environment,and pays less attention to the emotional appeals of the elderly.For the elderly,the sense of abandonment and inferiority caused by separation from the society will bring long-term depression,which is not only detrimental to their own health,but also increases the pressure on the whole society to care for the elderly.The "Policy Framework for Active Ageing" proposed by the World Health Organization in 2002 pointed out that social participation is an important part of active ageing.Therefore,this research plan applies persuasive design theory to design practice to design public environmental facilities and supporting service systems suitable for the elderly,to promote the active participation of the elderly in society,and to achieve self-value expression and self-value identification.Through literature research and other methods,this paper sorts out and analyzes the research,current situation,and persuasive design research theory and research status of the elderly in China.The possibility of designing to motivate older people to engage in society based on persuasive design is explored.Based on the TTM-PSD persuasive design framework,some designs related to social participation of the elderly are analyzed.Get the design principles and priorities to be aware of when designing for older adults and social engagement.This paper studies the user behavior in the process of social participation of the elderly.Through interviews,the motivation,barriers and pain points of social participation of the elderly were analyzed.The design direction was finally determined.According to the TTM-PSD framework and the interview results,starting from the daily living habits of the elderly,a systematic design scheme is designed to promote the elderly to have a diversified and high degree of social participation through the recycling of waste materials.The design of products for elderly care facilities to enhance the social participation of the elderly is of exploratory significance.
