Research On Development Strategy Of Shandong Port Group

A port is an infrastructure that connects land and sea for material exchanges between countries,and is an important force and support for social and economic development.Ports are not only responsible for the transportation of major global trade materials,but also for maintaining the security of global industrial chains and supply chains.Shandong Port Group Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Shandong Port Group)is an important strategic node for east-west economic interaction and north-south material transfer,an important strategic and leading infrastructure in China,and an important global industrial chain and supply chain integration platform.This paper takes Shandong Port Group as the research object,and mainly formulates the development strategy from the following steps.First of all,build the theoretical framework of this paper,in simple terms,it is to summarize and analyze various researches related to this paper.Secondly,analyze the external environment based on PEST analysis and Porter’s five forces model,analyze the internal environment in terms of resources and capabilities,and judge the importance of internal and external factors through the IFE matrix and the EFE matrix.Thirdly,choose the company’s development strategy through SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix,and formulate a development strategy suitable for Shandong Port Group.Finally,based on the above analysis of Shandong Port Group,strategic implementation measures are proposed in five aspects:vertical integration of operation management,vertical integration of port transformation,vertical integration of digital port,vertical integration of green port,and vertical integration of overseas supply chains.Safeguard measures on countermeasures are system mechanism,policy support,talent team,financial resources,risk control and corporate culture,so it can ensure the smooth implementation of the development strategy.This paper comprehensively considers the development situation of Shandong Port Group,analyzes its macro and micro environment,and coordinates the enterprise’s ability resources.The development plan of Shandong Port Group provides a reference and a model for the development strategy decision of the Port Group.
