Motor is the key power equipment for energy conversion in electromechanical engineering,and is widely used in manufacturing industry.With the improvement of quality and efficiency of China’s economy,the promotion and application of high-efficiency energy-saving motors has become a trend,and the motor industry is facing new development opportunities and challenges.At present,there are thousands of motor manufacturers in China,most of which are small and medium-sized ones.Too many manufacturers,and the high price of raw materials leads to a decline in the profits of manufacturers.The development of the motor industry is facing a dilemma.In this context,it is particularly important for SDSB Motor Group to choose a reasonable competitive strategy based on its own resource conditions,so as to maintain a strong competitive momentum and achieve breakthrough in the industry.This paper is about the research on Motor Group Co.,Ltd.based on competitive strategy theory through strategic management tools,analyzes the internal and external environment and its own advantages and disadvantages in detail,and formulates an appropriate competitive strategy for the company.First of all,the paper introduces the current market situation of SDSB Motor Group,analyzes the external macro environment from the aspects of politics,economy,social culture and technology using PEST analysis method,analyzes the motor industry environment using Porter’s five forces model,analyzes the opportunities and threats of the main competitors and external environment,and constructs the external factor evaluation matrix(EFE matrix)to draw the conclusion that the opportunities faced by the company exceed the threats,and the company can seek advantages and avoid disadvantages to seize the opportunity of industry development and achieve continuous breakthroughs.Secondly,by analyzing the current situation of the company’s technology,products and operation,as well as internal resources such as human resources,R&D,brand and promotion,the internal factor evaluation matrix(IFE matrix)is constructed to analyze the internal environment,and it is concluded that the company has obvious competitive advantages in terms of brand influence,R&D innovation ability and customized production.At the same time,using SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix,through the questionnaire,the paper determines the weight and evaluates the optional competitive strategy,and chooses one appropriate differentiated competitive strategy for SDSB Motor Group.In the end,the paper proposes a practicable implementation plan for the company’s differentiated competition strategy,and put forward suggestions on how to execute the differentiated competition from several aspects of technological innovation to create the core advantages of products,strengthening the customized marketing system of "customer service demand",strengthening the guarantee of human resources,doing a good job in quality control,and building a good brand image of enterprises.Through the application of relevant theoretical knowledge of strategic management,this paper conducts research and analysis on SDSB Motor Group Co.,Ltd.,and explores how the company can use its own advantages,seize opportunities,strengthen its strength,and maintain a strong competitive momentum according to the current situation of the company,the current situation and development trend of the motor industry.At the same time,we hope to provide reference and help for the development of small and medium-sized electrical enterprises.
