In today’s society,"green" is a very unique theme.The fields involved in green are developing continuously.From green economy to green management,and then to green human resource management,the concept of green has attracted more and more attention from the government,society,individuals and even scholars.Green human resource management seems to be a quite new concept in essence,but it has been subconsciously practiced for many years before it was named.It was developed in the West and then introduced and applied by Eastern countries.Specifically,green human resource management(GHRM)can be defined as a set of policies,practices and systems designed to stimulate the green behavior of company employees to create an environment sensitive,resource efficient and socially responsible workplace and overall organization.Strengthening green human resource management is an important new management mode that enterprises must face and implement in today’s era.Strengthening the research on this topic has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on this,this paper makes a beneficial exploration on a series of problems of green human resource management in enterprises.Starting from the literature review,this paper further clarifies the relevant theories such as green management theory,corporate social responsibility theory and sustainable development theory.On this basis,it analyzes the impact of green human resource management on employees’ green behavior,corporate image and competitiveness.At the same time,three world-famous and economically competitive companies,Google,Honda and Starbucks,are used as cases for discussion,To further explain the good effect of green human resource management.Finally,the paper analyzes the main problems of implementing green human resource management in enterprises and the specific countermeasures to solve the problems of green human resource management in enterprises. |
