Research On The Revitalization Of Public Space In Traditional Villages In Northern Jin

Traditional villages are recorders of rural scenery and witnesses of folk customs inheritance.Despite their wide distribution and large quantity,they are important media for villagers to mainly produce and live in,maintain social relations and cultural awareness,and promote harmonious social development.The northern part of Shanxi Province is a place where farming and Nomad blend.The traditional villages are influenced by the natural environment,economic development,social culture and other factors,forming their own distinctive spatial forms,architectural forms and regional landscapes.Among them,the public space of the village,as the main activity space of the villagers,is not only in the public domain,but also an important object for the protection and development of the village,which is the external visual manifestation of Material culture and intangible cultural heritage.In the current promotion of rural revitalization policies,numerous deployments and arrangements have been made to improve the living environment of villages and match the development of industries.However,in the context of rapid urbanization,the strategies adopted in the design of traditional village renovation and reuse often lack targeted solutions.When the overall and systematic review is often unable to achieve clear and self-evident logic,traditional villages tend to develop towards assimilation,This makes it difficult to fully preserve the spatial form of existing villages,weaken the order of their original style,and make it difficult to maintain their inheritance.This paper selects the public space of traditional villages in northern Jinbei as the research object,and first investigates the spatial morphological characteristics of traditional villages in northern Jinbei from three aspects: the functional attributes of village formation at the macro level,the external spatial form of the meso-level village and the internal public space form of the micro-level village,and then according to the survey results,it is classified into four categories: military walled fortress type village,transportation hub type village,traditional agricultural and pastoral village,and clan culture type village.Secondly,taking the integrity of traditional village preservation as the basic condition,various types of typical villages were selected as research samples,and different types of village road network maps were extracted by morphological type analysis,and branched group,street-alley,radial center,and scattered arrangement were divided into branches,streets,alleys,and scattered arrangements according to their morphology,and the spatial syntax simulation and field investigation of the spatial morphology of various villages were combined,so as to obtain the locations of favorable locations and unfavorable points in the internal road network of different types of villages,so as to have pertinence and efficiency in the transformation design Starting from the four problems that must be encountered in the design of traditional village public space: point space reshaping,linear space reconstruction,surface space integration,and three-dimensional space fit,a set of effective strategies for the design of traditional village public space in northern Jinbei is summarized,and combined with engineering examples-research application and verification of public space design in Jule Village,Yunzhou District,Datong City.This paper hopes to summarize the current situation and design exploration of the existing traditional village public space in northern Jinbei,provide some new thinking and suggestions for the public space design of traditional villages,consider problems with systematic thinking,transform village public space with accurate thinking,and put forward specific suggestions and design methods with the design of public space in Yunzhou District,Datong City,which has theoretical and practical guiding significance.
