A Study On The Spatial Characteristics Of Traditional Villages In Northeastern Sichuan And The Strategies For Their Activation And Renewal

Tongjiang County is located in the mountainous area in the northeast of Sichuan Province.Under the joint action of the local natural environment and rich historical and cultural deposits,traditional villages with regional characteristics of Tongjiang County have been formed.In this paper,traditional villages in Tongjiang County are taken as the research object.Through field investigation,quantitative and qualitative analysis,26 traditional villages in the region are studied to reveal the unique construction experience and humanistic characteristics of traditional villages in Tongjiang County,so as to provide support for the planning protection,activation and renewal of modern traditional villages in Tongjiang County.This paper starts from the natural and historical background of traditional villages in Tongjiang County,overall distribution,location and site selection,village construction time evolution and other regional characteristics,to explore the causes of the formation of traditional villages in Tongjiang County.Secondly,the research method from macro to meso to micro is adopted to establish the basic map analysis of 26 typical traditional villages at the macro level.According to their cultural background,the unity characteristics are condensed,and the differences of village spatial morphological characteristics are quantitatively analyzed.On this basis,Arcgis analysis tool is used to conduct qualitative analysis of their overall spatial characteristics.From the meso-level perspective,the interior of the village is analyzed from two aspects: the layout form and density characteristics of the buildings.On the micro level,it analyzes the construction methods of the village’s architectural functional space,plane layout,architectural structure and materials,decorative patterns and other aspects.Finally,it reveals the regular characteristics of spatial pattern construction of traditional villages in Tongjiang County.Finally,under the comprehensive consideration of natural,economic,historical and cultural factors,combined with the upper planning,the paper proposes the renewal and activation forms of the layout form of traditional villages in Tongjiang County,public activity space and residential building space,so as to explore more possibilities for the development and renewal of traditional villages in Tongjiang County.From the perspective of the overall spatial pattern of traditional villages in Tongjiang County,this paper combs the spatial pattern of traditional villages in Tongjiang County by using the method of literature research and spatial demonstration,and reveals the construction characteristics of the spatial pattern of traditional villages in Tongjiang County.Finally,from the perspective of historical wisdom guiding modern construction,the practice system of planning and construction,activation and renewal of traditional villages in Tongjiang County is preliminarily constructed.
