| Tibetan Buddhism architecture in Mobei Mongolia region is the architectural relics created under the specific natural environment, social culture, economic technology, aesthetic concepts and other objective conditions by integrating the labor wisdom of Mongolian,Tibetan,Han and other multi-ethnic craftsmen and the general public; It is the most important and unique material cultural heritage in the region, with extremely important cultural value, and has extensive research value in history, religious studies, anthropology, architecture and other fields. As the most eye-catching external form element in such buildings, its roof is an important visual symbol that can best reflect its cultural characteristics and construction skills. However,at present,in the field of architecture, the research on Tibetan Buddhism architecture in Mobei Mongolia is mostly focused on its evolution and development history, the morphological characteristics of representative buildings, and the settlement of temples, and there is a lack of in-depth research on the roof morphology of such buildings in Mobei Mongolia. In view of the current research situation in the field of architecture discipline, this paper takes the roof of Tibetan Buddhism buildings in Mobei Mongolia as the research object, takes field research data information as the research basis, and uses field research, summary, analysis and comparison and other methods to study the shape evolution of the roof of such buildings. The paper is divided into four parts: firstly, clarify the research purpose and significance, summarize and summarize existing relevant research, and elaborate on the basic overview of the Mobei Mongolian region and the background of Buddhism’s dissemination in the region;Secondly,on the basis of a large number of Mongolian and Chinese literature surveys,we conducted in-depth field research and architectural surveying and mapping of more than 150 Tibetan Buddhism building roofs in Mobei Mongolia area, and selected 60 representative cases as the research objects, presenting their survey and mapping information in the form of charts, laying a solid information foundation for the subsequent induction, comparison and morphological evolution research.Thirdly, starting from the three aspects of single building roof form combination, group building roof form organization, roof construction technology and space form, this paper combs the development and evolution characteristics of roof form in different historical stages, and based on this, discusses the adaptability and variability of Tibetan Buddhism building roof form in Mobei Mongolia region. Finally, the evolution characteristics are analyzed and summarized from three aspects: form continuation, form transformation, and concept renewal, summarizing the laws in its evolution process. Then, the influencing factors are analyzed from the perspectives of changes in residential form, social values, and cultural orientation. The above research shows that the roof form of Tibetan Buddhism buildings in Mobei Mongolia has experienced the evolution process from the implantation of foreign culture to the regional development.During this period, the roof form has been inheritance, with many variations based on the original shape, and the roof combination layout has changed from a horizontal single type to a vertical composite type and a horizontal multiple type; The self-organizing evolution of its construction technology integration and innovation,as well as the gradual simplification of roof form,is consistent with the socio-economic and cultural development of the region. This study is a useful supplement to the research system of Tibetan Buddhism architecture in Mobei Mongolia, and can also draw excellent experience and ecological wisdom from its self-organization evolution to provide ideas for the regional practice of contemporary architecture. |
